Today on day 142 of my sobriety journey, it's time for another story. This time, I'm sharing my experience in a Norwegian prison, my first and hopefully last time. I spent less than three months in a low-security prison, and it was quite an eye-opener.
Norwegian prisons are known for their humane approach, which was a stark contrast to what I expected. I'll talk about my first dinner there, the groups, and some funny moments that happened along the way. It's a mix of everything-how it felt, what I learned, and the overall philosophy of the prison system in Norway.
