Skill specialists with Tasty Chance Up is my guess (1.5x Main Skill chance allows players to try them on the team in Week 1, 1.5x Dish multiplier pairs well to keep using them in Week 2). Changing type for final evo not as critical for Skill specialists also, but prob worth keeping Quaxly at mid evo until Suicune passes. Maybe some diamonds on the Dream Gift wheel, enough to tease players to top up and purchase a bundle 😅 Level 60, new area and next legendary surely amongst next weeks daily announcements

You can also use a exchange ticket on sunday at GG to hop to another island to get the area bonus if you’re already capped out at GG

I think the gen 9 starters are going to be skill specialists. Due to the kanto starters are ingredient specialists, and johto starters are berry specialists

If they stay the same type, the duck is the way to go. If they switch types, the croc is the way to go. Ghost island hasn’t been unlocked so good for future value.

For the second week I'll probably be heading back to Cyan Beach. Mainly to search for Totodile & Quaxly, but also for a chance at more Fuecoco. We'll have to see how good the ones I befriend during week 1.

@espresso_makes_depresso5905 3 of the same skill for skill specialty would be overkill... but then they did for Legendary cats so anything goes. At least we get 2 free main skill levels with 3 stage evos.

Kanto starters are all ingredient specialists, Johto starters are all berry specialists. All the Paldea starters being skill specialists isn't too far fetched of an idea

@faisalahmed416 maybe different skills it would make sense. Since berry coverage for johto are different berries. Ingredient coverage are different ingredients for kanto starters. Strange but possible.

You mentioned how these Pokémon are more ideal than others based on the legendary dogs. If you have an amazing Ente or Raiko, would you suggest in same type Pokémon? It seems there skill is very useful and helping boost/prepare for event weeks

Like Helper Boost skill specialty on these 3? Be weird to nerf suicune like that though before we even got to it... Although fighting, dark, ghost helper boost might work if they're not grass water fire.

@@Bropenings right. I’m trying to figure out that balance of hunting for pokemon based on potential future need, or to help boost the main skill of my entie. Since I have a great one. Basically, try to hunt for BFS fire types so entie can help prep for event weeks.

Same with my bfs Eevees. Evolve to use with entie or evolve into a less common type like ice/dark that I may use more now. But not in the future when prepping for event weeks. I don’t know if any of that makes sense haha

@@Bropenings Well, it wouldn't be too difficult. Just raise/lower natures and then make the skills actually not good, so that "Large" is almost definitely needed over "Small". There's a reason they only go up to Small and Medium for basically everything EXCEPT Inventory L?!?! 🤔
