Brilliantly different take on the piano solo! Takes guts to go alongside Lyle, but pianist succeeds almost completely in presenting an original vision! I wish the bass was louder in the mix. I want to hear what's coming out of thoae happy fingers! First Circle grabbed hold of my ears and my heart in summer 1986, and hasn't let go for almost 40 years! I've listened to it hundreds of times, and I know I could listen to it forever. Thank you for this fresh view of it.

Excellent rendition of this classic PMG song! Congratulations on tackling this very challenging theme. Further excellence goes to the impressive piano solo by Mario Nappi! All musicians are outstanding and so is the musical arrangement and recording.

Agreed this is a stunning tribute. I went to North Texas State University and got turned on to Pat Metheney. Lyle Mays etc. over 40 years ago. Still listen to them.

Cette magnifique interprétation (et notamment l'étonnant solo de piano) mériterait un meilleur mixage à mon sens (effet de pompage audible et inégalité de rendu des instruments au cours du morceau, en particulier la basse et la guitare, qui sont trop en retrait). En dehors de cette considération technique, c'est splendide à tous points de vue. Bravo
