I loved it, i took 2nd class sleeper.i could remember ac was super cold, but waking up in the morning was great to see the countryside before arriving in chiang mai.

Tom they do condos in bang su for about 174 US dollars per month swimming pool gym I think there is three stations or two there I heard there are 60 odds shops I think 4000 people live there in the condos enjoy your trip

Interesting train journey, 1st class not like you Tom, but seeing it, it doesn't seem that luxurious or big to be honest. You have a camera man/woman, that makes it easier to vlog plus you have company on your trip. Looking forward to seeing Chiang Mai, sleep well (if you can)

Traveled by train in Thailand in all different classes. It was OK. But not fancy.

How long before you went on the train did you book the tickets for 1st class, I go in 5 months and can't find any 1st class am I took late?

I may have an irrational fear of using a squat toilet. Fear of going on my leg 😂

I went on the train 5 years ago in the daytime just sitting on seat not good ,slow train bad track it come with a boiled dark egg in some liquid I couldn’t wait to get off I said never again the bus much better

Instead of saying "Thank you! Thank you!" in that strange voice, to the ticket collector on the train, you should've said it in Thai to show respect. If you have "lived in a province" as you say, you should realise this. I'm puzzled as to why you felt you needed to say it twice to him like you did. Strange.

Probably the most anti-tree, anti-green train station I have seen. Vast areas without a single tree. Airports are jealous.
