I really enjoyed this sight seeing from the vistadome coach. Wdp4d which pulled your train from Yeshwanthpur to Mangalore is my favourite diesel locomotive of India.

Despite challenges, You've tried your best to capture as much as possible. Brilliant! 👌 I personally feel, Vistadome we can travel once - in light rains and during very less crowd. Else, it is waste. We can travel in normal class and save money.

Trivia: The train Sequence of THIRUDA THIRUDA movie (DONIGAL - SAKLESHPURA) was taken in this route, which was erstwhile a meter guage route, from Guntakal to mangalore via Bengaluru and Mysuru. One is Subramnya road where the bankers are detached.

Bro while going towards mangalore side, engines must be coupling front side only for breaking supports from so many years,,While Returning from mangalore to saklespur ,engines will attach in back side for pushing.

This train has an Electric Loco change at Mangaluru Junction. Samastipur WAP4 or Erode WAP7 will take charge till Karwar since now the entire Konkan Railway is Electrified.
