I really love the shell color. It stands out from the standard black.

Curious to see what other reviewers think of this. I'm not sure my preferences are the same as Precogs, but I do hope these stay available in the long term and not some limited release.

Heard it. Loved it. A little too much thump for my taste. However, the midrange and treble presentations were among the best I’ve heard. I agree that reviewer’s should probably do fewer collaborations, but I understand the incentives to do more are pretty strong.

I’ve gone full circle on this topic of collabs. Initially it was something exotic when crin started it. Then it become the flavor of the month club once all reviewers jumped in. Then I got cynical about it around avoiding them. One day HBB and explained the compensation model around collabs and compared the comp to affiliate links then it clicked for me and I’m back on the collab train.

Exiting to see a high end collaboration. Most collabs seem to be on very disposal products. Even when they are good for their price category, only a very select few don't immediately disappear from relevancy. Only maybe one or two of HBB colabs and of course the salnote zero, but we didn't even know that was one. The $1000 mark has far more room for improvement.

Heard it. Loved it. Closer to the Trio than the U12t. I liked it better than the 64 Velűr, which I A/B’d at CanJam. I do hate the color, though. lol. Congrats Precog!!

I did not agree with nothing about bias. Zeus ,yes. He talks about his iem as the best when it's not. Some reviewers don't review their product and place them in the a chatter board. Colabs are good when comes to different prices . Like hbb did with some of his collabs. Different prices

About time. Hope it does have a graph like 64 audio. I notice something . As a hifi freak . Music producers like myself. We listen to music loud, when reviewers always tune at medium volumes . And for each 10 dB we pump the volume the mid frequency from 2 k to 10k goes up by 3 dB. So most iem for people that like listen to loud volumes are screwed. Yes I prefer crossover with capacitors than filters to allow the driver to respond free instead of limiting the air flow. I wish one day they can make a dd driver with a middle tweeter and open back that the air goes back into the nozzle to bring back the very low frequency. If will be nozzles for changing the tuning . Theb they should have one for low volumes. 1 for mid volumes and one for high volume. Instead of balance.bass or treble. In high volumes we require mid bass a lot, but does not work in low volumes because it becomes muddy. Total different tuning when comes to volumes. Please make that

This is my review of the Dunu Mirai. I per-ordered this the day it came up for sale, and was looking forward to getting it in. $1100.00 so I thought it would be world class build and sound, When I first opened it I was very unhappy! The cable looks and feels like a cheap plastic toy, and the IEMs are very light and feel like they spent $5 for the shells. I am running this on a Schiit Midgard, Lokius, and Modius, not off a phone. As for the sound, it not bad, clean clear but very little in the bass. If you want to feel the hit in the lows, forget it. You can hear the drums but not feel a thing, the mids are nice and clean, so female vocals are nice. The highs are good but not great, and in no way worth the 1+k . What I truly think is that somebody is making a lot of money on a very mid level set. If they spent more then $75 building this I would be shocked. Look for something else to drop a thousand bucks on, this set at that price is a joke!

0:11 Unfortunate that even The HEADPHONE Show is not reviewing their own collab. I hope Precog will have the integrity to review his own Mirai. I hope he doesn't copy the other reviewers who "claim" they can't review due to "fairness". Buyers expect a collab he worked hard on to reflect his criteria and taste (trust over the years). 1:35 Precog just exposed how bad other collabs are and that tells me why they don't review their own collabs. Other reviewers just send off a target and go to bed. That is the most meaningless thing and Precog is correct that those aren't true collabs. That's why none of those reviewers main their collabs. The company just pumps out a random mid-tier IEM with their names on it. That's the selling point. It has to be low-tier to mid-tier to sell a lot of units. But the cheap thing is even if they have expensive collabs, they just don't review it. You don't see them maining it, and they won't rank it according to their own criteria, so basically I'm not trusting those. I hope Precog will be different considering in this interview he said he wanted to be different.

I personally think $500+ is too much to pay for any IEM. I mean, it's all relative, but these are all just tiny earphones and nothing makes too many of them really stand out above the rest for me.

Congrats on the collab, but in my opinion, there are just too many IEMs. I thought the analysis paralysis of buying a high-end over ear was bad. I have considered an IEM (used to have Shure 535) but honestly, it's too much. Every week is like 20 new models and everyone is constantly touting each as better than before. Makes me give up on buying any of them. Just figured I'd share my thoughts on this
