How did they think it was accurate to apply a Cervical collar where the Mechimisim Of injury, and location didn’t suggest a spinal injury at all. The patient was in an open field with no height to fall from, and no bystanders around. At that point, I couldn’t consider spinal precautions at all. Additionally, you can’t shock flatline, only Vtac and Vfib. In my opinion, this update was ok, but it really needs more research put into it, like a secondary assessment (SAMPLE, OPQRST) along with vitals and patients that are in shock and treatment for shock. I would have treated that head injury for shock, due to the potential for internal injuries, along with put them in a backboard. Also, patients who’s condition deteriorate on you would be good, as there would be a sense of urgency to get them to the hospital.

Also the rhythm that represents sinus rhythm would be considered a moderate form of Vtac.
