Oh man...Pirates....I coulda cried my eyes the entire time. I only wish I coulda smelled the water with ya! So freaking cool. Looks like just the most incredible day. And what an ending. It was like the cherry on top to see the Mickey and Minnie :)

# Seeing you guys at WDW is like having a good friend watch a movie that you absolutely love for the first time. Knowing that you love Disneyland and get to see things that are similar, yet different is also great to experience. My first time at The Magic Kingdom was in 76, when I was 11. That was the only park there at the time, but the Contemporary and Polynesian Village were also there. Imagine being an 11 year old kid in 1976, riding on a Monorail for the first time, riding straight through the Contemporary Resort and out again on your way to the Magic Kingdom. It’s amazing now, but back then it was absolutely mind blowing. I was suddenly in the future! The fact that the ride narration was speaking in both Spanish and English also blew my mind. Later in the early 90’s I went to Epcot Center for the first time. It was heaven on earth for a dark ride Omnimover lover like myself. There were 3 amazing dark rides there that no longer exist: Horizons, World of Motion (which is now Test Track..I believe it held the record at the time for most animatronics on one ride), and Journey Into Imagination (Possibly my favorite, and 100 times better than the current iteration). Look up old videos for those rides if you haven’t yet. I still love Epcot, but 80’s and 90’s Epcot was incredible. I didn’t end up going to Disneyland until the early 80’s. I loved it as well, of course. It’s so cool to have seen both and experience each take on the Disney Magic! You guys deserve this, and I wish I was there with you. We will be making our third recent attempt to go in March. We were about to head there this past March, but Covid took that opportunity away. We later rescheduled for June, but that wasn’t happening either. Here’s to March 2021!

As a California native living out of state who only gets to go back every few years, I can smell the pirate water with you!! Thanks for taking us all on the journey and letting us live vicariously!

Pirate water smell is a real thing. That is my favorite ride at MK - WDW.

I’ve never been on the carousel of progress, and love pirates, it is our families favorite ride altogether because there’s so many of us that’s the first thing we go on at Disneyland.

I was hoping to see you on the Jungle Cruise it’s different than the one at Disneyland and I think it’s a better ride there at WDW. Their Jungle cruise has a tunnel you grow through. Enjoyed this vlog!
