I took the Ekspress train to KL sentral and arrived a bit before 7am and was surprised to see it was still dark outside but good it gets dark late in KL, never a bad meal in Malaysia, I pass near the Merdeka tower when I was exploring Chinatown, some of the architecture in the area reminds me of a Caribbean country. I need to return to Malaysia and explore other regions.

since u guys are vegetarian, I want surgest u guys try this 2 village food , 1= Masak Lemak Sayur Putih 2= Masak Lemak Pucuk Ubi This 2 food is famous in Kelantan but I think u can found this 2 food at some place selling NASI CAMPUR stall..but best this 2 type of Sayur eat it pair with any protein like ayam goreng or ikan goreng

Oh gosh, Greg looks so excited to hunt for his 1st meal immediately after you both set foot on Malaysian soil. Good to see you guys back in Malaysia. Yeah, everything is in fact back to normal and everybody is out and about. No more scanning "My Sejahtera" 😀🤓😂 even though the signage is still there. That building Dayabumi..back in the 80s whenever pass thru that building felt so proud that KL had such a modern feel.. Umbra juice one of best option for drinks, Lai Foong so so nostalgic.. Kaki Lima...even though both of u been away to few countries last 3 years, the word just naturally came back to Greg as usual

Welcome back to KL. Do visit Lalaport the famous Japanese mall...take the monorail and stop at Hang Tuah station it's connected to the mall. You will get to see the Merdeka 118 building at a closer range. Fantastic view. You can watch the sunset too at the mall's compound. The African baobab tree is also planted at the compound. Cheers !!!

That building is called Dayabumi....one of tallest building built in mid 80s....it was very popular then....my favourite building too bcoz of its architecture

@5:20 that building is called Dayabumi. It was the Petronas company headquarter in its early days before it moved to the Twin Towers. I used to work there for a couple of years and it had it fair shares of fame in those days.

@@FoodandFootprints former Petronas HQ before they moved to KLCC. The only buliding in KL which use steels as a beams and pillars. instead of concrete like in NYC. Would to suggest you to go to Ramly Halal Kiosk sdn bhd at Kampung Batu Muda .A mixed of fast food/mamak/malay and western too. Ramly burger own restaurant. .

Hey Jumi, your favorite building use to be Petronas HQ before twin towers, and that building still owned by Petronas.. actually the architecture is almost the same with the twin towers if u see the floor layout.. just that twin towers the floor size gets smaller as the building goes higher

That is where Kuala Lumpur begins its life in 1857 and how it got the name Kuala Lumpur which literally translates to Muddy Confluence..

D vegetarian food looked so good n so very delicious. That's a pile of goodness on those plates. Must have been very satisfying.

D building that Jumi like next to Pos Malaysia is called Dayabumi. It's d old HQ for Petronas. D building is still an asset of Petronas even though they moved to d Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC.
