In this week's video: I woke up super early and got to visit an almost empty Meiji Jingu, took some pictures in front of the beautiful Consecrated Sake Barrels, walked around Yoyogi Park, had breakfast at Blue Bottle Café Shibuya, visited teamLab, watched a splendid sunset and had my first sushi in Japan …and on a conveyor belt!! 🤩

Great channel. I was so close to visiting Japan at one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit Asia. All the best!

Wow beautifully captured! I thought most people regret coming to Japan in the summer because it's too hot and humid but I'm glad you've enjoyed it :) I guess the worst time to come to Japan is in June, the rainy season😆 Thanks for making such a beautiful video!

It was definitely TOO hot!! 😂 But I had a whole strategy to avoid it: I would wake up around 5AM to visit touristic places around 6AM, then go back home for a rest/a nap during mid-day, and then explore again in the late afternoon, when the heat is going down, the sun is setting... It was two very nice ambiences! ☺️ Hopefully my next trip will be during any other seasons 😂

I also went from the Meiji Jingu to Yoyogi super early because I couldn’t sleep lol but I developed a habit of mcdonalds for breakfast because it’s actually good in Japan. You're too kind!! ❤️ I do have 2 phones! I bought the Iphone 14 Pro when my 11 was slowly dying... I am based in Brazil, the country with the MOST expensive apple products in the world 😩 so when I was in Korea, I bought a new phone! But then, as soon as I started using the 14 Pro to shoot content (bc the camera was obv 10000x better than the 11), my 11 suddenly got in better health... 😂 So I had two great phones! The 14 to shoot content/creative hobbies (Procreate Pocket/Capcut/Unfold) + the 11 for internet stuff = it's actually great to have 2 phones because 1) I never need extra battery during the day! They both hold pretty well for each of the use I need them for and 2) I'm hoping it will make them hold longer in time... we'll see ☺️

Your first day in Tokyo is some of what I would like to see myself. Not as interested in the 3d cat, more into the architecture of their shrines, temples reminds me of going through a cathedral in Europe. Like to see the area around the emperor palace. The garden with the butterflies was really nice to see.

If you're interested in architecture, you're in for A TRIP in Japan!! 😍 You can just walk around and stumble on beautiful shrines in the middle of the city... So happy you're here!! 🥰 So, about APA Hotel Shinjuku Gyoemmae: great neighborhood! Being close to Shinjuku station means you're super well-connected to the rest of the city! Lots of konbini and restaurantes around! To be fully honest, the room was SMALL, but well, that's also one of the cheapest room in the city... BUT they have great amenities: I LOVED the public bath house, they also offered adaptors, iron, etc. I think if you're like me and plan to spend most of your day outside, it's really okay! Better to have a small room in a good location that will make you give you the ability to move around easily and fast ☺ ENJOY!!!! ❤ so happy for you!

Thank you so much! ❤ I simply use my Iphone (14 Pro). As for the settings: 4k + 30fps But tbh, I think this is secondary - the most important thing is probably to find the good lighting wherever you are ☺ (my phone is useless in dark environments haha)

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply! So, I am also usually based in a hot/humid country (Brazil) and honestly... Japan was tough 😂 I don't know how to explain it, but it seems to be a universal experience - the summers there are indeed rough! I didn't mind so much the humidity but the sun, oh my, it was so strong! I REALLY recommend you to buy one of these UV umbrella once you're there! 1) everyone has one/uses them, it's super common and 2) it will save your life many times! It makes walking around historical sites way more bearable! But still - it's lovely to visit in the summer! ☺️

In japan, woman can shave her fase at barber. Womans shaving(dermaplaning) can do at barber is only in japan. Womans shaving(dermaplaning) is japanese traditional culture from 300years ago.

Hi, thank you for sharing. I will be visiting Japan for 3 months at the end of March this year. Can I ask if possible, to find a way for the text you write to stand out more. I'm having trouble see white text against most of the backgrounds. Maybe black text with a solid white background. Looking forward to seeing more shared experiences.

omg you're going to live THE BEST LIFE!! I was there last year actually, havent been in Japan since September 😭 Im hoping to visit again soon in the future, so many prefectures to explore... The Yoyogi Park is right next to the Meiij-Jingu shrine, NOT TEMPLE.

so sad to see all these people writing their wish in this piece of wood, like if there will be magic and that it will be realized. Why they do that ? if they don't believe in it they are only embarassing themselves and sharing they intimacy with strangers, and if they believe it whereas they are adults i don't understand. or maybe they are only imitating others people without thinking about it. too many superstitions, they should try to think about the truth more instead of create false things to play with it
