First Day Snowmobile Season To Off Grid Cabin Petersville, Alaska

Күн бұрынTony rides the black/yellow 2021 Ski Doo Expedition, Kyle rides the black 2020 Ski Doo Summit, I'm on my 2020 Ski Doo Expedition Xtreme. Anyways Today we (Kyle, Tony, and I) snowmobile out to Tony's uncles off grid cabin to drop off fuel and other essentials for the winter. We also wanted to check the trail to make sure there weren't trees down that would block our way to the cabin for future trips.

Next toy needs to be a sled or timber sled on a dirt bike. Great video! 2 years in a dry cabin. Kinda miss running water lol

Thanks for watching! Snow down here isn’t great this year but we try and make the most of it. I feel like you learn to appreciate the small things after being off grid for a while. Haha I’ve never gone 2 years only like 2 weeks. 😂

@@BTHAlaska anytime great video! oh you definitely appreciate the little things in life in situations like this lol but yeah it was only supposed to be a year situation but it’s just so cheap to live in one lol

fun ride, beautiful scenery. good idea to have permission before filming a cabin that isn't yours, plus not recording the whole route helps to keep it private too. cold does deplete a battery and being on the front of the sled will be a constant battle with the temp. was it annoying trying to drive with all the interior lights on? better to have a light in front of your face instead of behind you.

Yeah the GoPro gets cold pretty fast being on the front of the sled. It wasn’t too bad filming with the lights on in the Jeep I had a pretty bad glare on the windshield when I turned the drivers and passengers reading lights on so I just ended up using the back dome lights knowing it wouldn’t be super great for the camera. I just try and work with what I got. 😂
