Love the 11th gen Civic! Love to see a demo with the gray seats instead of black. 😉 I bought a brand new 2023 Civic Touring sedan in January 2023. I’d been driving my ‘02 Civic LX for 18 years and desperately needed a new(er) car. Compared to my old Civic, the new Civic Touring is a luxury sedan! Honda went back to their design roots with the 11th generation and absolutely nailed it. The design is classic Honda, modernized. I love the understated yet polished exterior paired with the semi-luxury interior. Mine is meteorite metallic gray with a two-tone black/gray interior (gray seats). Very classy! (I’m in South Florida. It’s waaay too hot here for black seats!) It’s a beautiful car and I’m super happy with it.

A/C functions well. Be sure to get the A/C checked out as it only has a 1 year warranty. Be aware that the 1.5 Turbo Earth's Dream engine requires special care, be nice to your engine, no revving, driving above 75 mph is not healthy, need regular 5K mile oil changes using OEM Toyota Oil Filters due to possible Oil Dilution. If your Engine starts making a lot of clicking, clunking, rattle noise have it checked ASAP. My wife has a 2022 Honda Civic Touring and it is excellent. The most annoying and aggravating feature is Idle-Stop. The Civic is not meant for Big and Tall people. Civic is better than the mediocre Toyota Corolla. The Mazda 3 would be nice but it suffers from claustrophobia and bad body design. If Honda Civic had ventilation cooled seats, you would love it more. My 2023 Toyota Camry XSE V6 has ventilated cooled seats, I wonder if the Accord has them? Be careful about hitting curbs, my wife is notorious for curb rash on the wheels. Drive slow over Speed Bumps. Enjoy one of the best small sedans around as the Civic Touring does a bit better than the lower Civic trims. Yeah! $30K is a bit overpriced and Honda keeps on raising the MSRP which is a shame. Wife's 2022 was $29,150 add Destination fee of $1,095 is $30,245. for a 2024 Civic Touring it is over $31K and personally not worth it. In June 2021 the 2022 Civic Touring MSRP was $28,300 and Dest. $995 total $29, 295, As mentioned Honda just keep rising the MSRP. Either get an Accord or look at Acura's if major problems arise.

Nice video, nice car. I have yet to see someone close the hatch property. The handle Justin stuck his hand in is for closing it from inside. There is another recess opposite that is for closing the hatch from the outside. They are also on both sides. Thanks Guys

Actually the 1.5 L engine is rated at 180 horsepower and 177 pound feet of torque.

I just bought one of these yesterday. I was bummed that the 2024 only has Wireless Carplay on the Touring trims. Other than that I love the car.

How is the cabin noise, have they improved ?

It didn't seem to be an issue for us. The audio wasn't tweaked to make up for any road noise during our drive, if that is any indicator.

The Civic Touring cabin noise is roughly 5 to 8 decibels lower than the other Civic trims. Still in need of more sound deadening material. Note: The Honda Accord also suffers from loud cabin noise. Toyota Corolla is not much better, get into a Toyota Camry XSE V6 and what a huge difference or Acura Integra or Audi 4.

Was the screen/apple car play flickering or was that just something to do with the recording ?

Great question! The screen does not flicker to the human eye. (Camera nerd stuff: this occurs when the camera's shutter speed is faster than the refresh rate of the screen, occasionally you see this with headlights too)

We are still driving daily our 1997 Civic stick. Seems it will run forever. We bought a basic 2024 HRV 2 weeks ago. Should last at least 20 years. Very happy owners.
