Watch my attempt at driving our 1985 Land Rover Santana pickup home for the beginning of the buildout process!
Keep in mind, I just learned how to drive a manual transmission (yikes)! We drive through the city and stop off at some prime locations in Lynnwood, Edmonds and Shoreline, WA for the viewpoints along the way. Enjoy the view of the Olympic Peninsula, some shots of the truck and the associated commentary as I work this thing home in one piece.
Thanks for watching!

I'm from Spain and this vehicle is still seen a lot in rural areas and is fabulous to see this beasts on the road. Take care of that vehicle as it's historic and I can assure you in America there ain't much of those. Nice video, I've enjoyed every minute and have a nice start of business mate, take care 🙌🏼

Hey Javier thanks for the kind note and we're happy you enjoyed the video! We love seeing old Rovers here in Washington and the pacific northwest. We just started roasting our beans and are enjoying the process. Cheers!

Nice truck. Good luck with your company. Starting a company is scary. Read a lot. Study a lot. Understand your business. Take great care of the customer and you will be fine.

Bloody hell, number plate from my neighbour island of Tenerife! How did it get there? Here you still see them working hard.

Now know where it came from. Looks like a lovely place! We originally bought it from a Land Rover dealer in Seattle, WA. We think they found it at auction. Wish we knew more about the history! We never see trucks like this over here. Awesome to hear they are still doing what they do best on your side. Cheers!

Thinking of getting one, how tall are you, would I fit in , I'm 6,1

Hey Sean. I am 6'1" ~ 180 lbs. I drove it with 6/10 comfort (mostly because of the length of my legs). Sometimes, I found it slightly challenging to get to the clutch because it was positioned a little further away from the floor compared to more modern vehicles. But, I never thought it compromised safety. It was more a case of sacrificing some day to day comforts in favor of fun factor. And it for sure has fun factor. Hope this description was helpful. Cheers!
