Was not expecting to see a Volvo engine in a colt, my first thought was evo engine. But credit to the person who built this, reliable and powerful lightweight car. I’ve always liked these Colts.

Love this build and always appreciated lad whom tuned this colt, my older cousin had one years ago with evo swap, gutted, roll cage, full rally build but was fwd 600whhp and too much wheel spin, he had front bumper from evo 6 the ones the round rally lights ,, gave it an awesome look

Mate, this is sick. My first car was a colt GTi, shape before this. I had a S40 T4 running 270hp. Remap and full exhaust. Loved both them cars, this is the best of both. The T4 is a old 2.3 T5 with a cylinder chopped off. Bullet proof

A little bit of interesting background information for people , The Volvo S40 / V40 ( That the T4 engine in this came from ) is the sister car to the Mitsubishi carisma , They share the same chassis and a lot of the same running gear . A standard Volvo s40 T4 is a very quick car too but they have become really difficult to come by these days . In standard form the T4 engine is 200 BHP and in a Volvo S40 will do 0-60 in 7 seconds and over 140 mph
