The "This is why we drive" channel trailer video, even though its years old now, I use it to refer to my non-car people friends why I love cars. 3:08 You said the 3.8 was bored out to 4.0L, but that is incorrect. The bore stayed exactly the same, but they used a different crankshaft (from the RSR) to increase the stroke of the engine.

One of James’ best videos- I come back to watch it regularly- key point he makes about how it’s harder to enjoy a super car on the roads these days - making a manual transmission essential for true enjoyment. Personally my skills on the track have yet to reach a level where a pdk would make a difference. Meanwhile, with the majority of my time in my gt3 (and a Subaru STI as my daily) I find the manual maxes the enjoyment

I used to have this Car as a 1/18 scale model car when i was a child. What a beautiful car.

A couple years ago I was riding my bike to school, when one of those things slowly passed me in a 30kmh zone. But even with it going only that slow it blew me away. One of my all time favourite cars! Congrats on the new ride! :)

This is a forever car. One of the only cars that I actually like a racing stripe on. Just feels like it has earned it with the performance. Congrats! I hope one day to at least be able to drive one of these.

NA manuals for the road - top drawer.

The 1st gear of a manual 997.2 C4S tops out at 43 mph. This means that if I put my foot down and have the engine hit the rev limiter, I know that I have not exceeded the speed limit on our 45 mph roads around town in the US. With a PDK, I would have to be more gentle and keep my eye on the speedometer, which kind of diminishes the experience.

Thank you for the great video! I am very blessed to own a 997.2 GT3RS 3.8. I think my car is absolutely amazing. Out of all of the cars that I own, it is sharing the number one spot with the Scuderia. It is truly unfathomable for me to imagine what the 997.2 4.0 RS feels like.
