Күн бұрынIt has the richest back catalogue of all, but Ferrari will never do a ‘continuation’ car. That doesn’t mean heritage is off-limits, though, which is where the Icona series comes in. Meet the Daytona SP3, a limited series, carbon fibre-bodied and mid-engined V12 two-seater fuelled by memories of the spectacular late Sixties/early Seventies Sport Prototipo era, and the 1-2-3 result in 1967’s Daytona 24 Hours race in particular.

Ferrari F1 haven't won a WDC title since 2007-->Kimi Raikkonen......due to a "technicality." Massa almost in 2008.....lost by 1 point. Alonso almost in 2012.....lost by 3 points. Since then, Ferrari loses out by DNF's, driver error, or pit strategy calls.

@@vika0194 80s was great! Earlier cars had some good moments but lots of low tech Wacky Races. 90s and beyond everything turns into an egg. The same boring egg. They told a computer to design them the most aerodynamic shape for a car and it came up with an egg with doors. There was 20 years of eggs with wheels, and it took them that long to have it come up with more complex shapes that are still aerodynamic. Now we live in the age of squashed eggs with fins and stuff.

Totally agree the slots behind were strange, but they grew on me a little after hearing the homage backstory, which is amazing by itself. As usual, Ferrari always adds those nice little touches like the headlights and the overall shape of the car is just so beautiful.

I didnt like the way their cars look afterthe 430. F12, 812 was good, but the 458 line, and the new 296 arent really telling me, it is a ferrari like an 512 TR does. But this one is just spot on, love at first sight!

let me remind you that the F40, the greatest and most iconic Ferrari ever made, is a twin-turbo V8. and i'm pretty sure it didn't taint the Ferrari image, in fact... Enzo himself said "if God was a car, He would be an F40."

@@A-G-F- But all Lambos(except Urus) have predominantly(actually all) have been NA like forever and the main point that almost all reviewers since and still make it a point to say what a pleasure NA engines were or are. It’s just that note, NA is a novelty, to which Ferrari have been late to realize. I’m not saying it’s bad, but like F1 they were a bit late compared to their rivals ( ie., in this case Lamborghini), a bit late to realize.

This retro-futuristic style is something I wish would happen more with Sports Cars, Supercars, and Hypercars alike since it's got that Cyberpunk feel to it. I hope synthetic fuels succeed so that automobile companies can keep making these alongside Sport EVs or something like that, just my thoughts.

Some of the retro-styled homage supercars coming out lately are absolutely stunning. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 (2021), Bugatti Centodieci, DeTomaso P72, and even the Aston Martin Victor are all ridiculous. Honourable mention to the Lamborghini Miura Concept from 2006, even though it’s nearly 20 years old

'A super light feel to the rack', 'if you breath on the steering wheel off center it darts'. Reminds me very much of the feeling I would get when driving my 928. It never felt like it weighted 3300 pounds; it was amazingly light in the corners. I guess it comes from perfect 50/50 weight balance and terrific suspension.

For example, two of the best current manual cars, he 911 (one of my all time faves), and the has a manual, but the rear is just as wide, and the civic type r, is also ridiculously wide. What a way to end an era. What a beautiful machine. The last naturally aspirated v12 mid engine was the Enzo (if I'm not mistaken), and this is so much more exciting. If Ferrari never does another naturally aspirated car, I'm okay with this being the end. It spoke to my heart

This would be the kind of car that I would look forward to seeing at the auto show as a kid in the '60's. As for the looks, my love right now is still the Roma.

I used to love the design of the Roma... Until I saw it in person. It's hideous, small, and screams "entry level Ferrari" when you see it upfront.

Forget the performance, of course its fast and sounds amazing. I am a complete fan of this new design language. Its like they traveled back to the 90's and looked at all the designs and concepts for "Supercars of the future" and then brought them to life. Beautiful and timeless, I can see this fitting right in between a Ford GT90 and a McLaren F1.

I imagine this car will go the way of the F40, remembered as the last and greatest of the line in it's era. With the hybrid and fully electric era nearly upon us, a straight-up, no-bullshit, non-hybrid NA V12 with stunning looks and low production volume, I can see the desirability of this car going nowhere but up. Sure, some may not like it, but enthusiasts will be drooling over this car for as long as they exist. Not to mention the _fantastic_ historical nods in the design language. Truly a work of art. If only it had a stick shift a bit less technological interference. Could you imagine?

The movement of raindrops at 5:20 on this car's window is mesmerizing as well, gives us a glimpse how the so called aerodynamics of the car actually functions in the elements out there.

Turbos Give that spark a linear engine doesnt have. John Players Special F1 car with 1300HP turbo charged from the 70's feel the power! A good old sports car!

Make it look like an SF90 in the front, LaFerrari in the middle, and the Quadra-Turbo R from Cyberpunk 2077 in the rear. Gorgeous car. The rear is truly stunning, retro and modern looking car all in one.

Actually I find it quite reminiscent of a cross btwn a 275LM, a Ford GT40, a touch of Lola with a bit of Zonda to the rear and viola, sublime

Agreed. I don't want to be mean to whoever this guy is, but I can rarely make it through his videos. He's not BAD. He just doesn't entertain, certainly not to a level I expect from Top Gear.

828bhp is amazing for Ferrari, it most likely could have had mid 900 or even if im being unrealistic, 1000bhp, turbocharged or supercharged or even both, it could push for that big power. Visually it looks amazing, the rear sort of reminds me of the testarossa's side vent, the front is like a like a senna with the open headlights. the car as a whole is just a masterpiece
