Radiance an option? The miss chance & spell lifesteal work vs PL, it's working all the time you're in your aghs burrow... It's not ideal late game but in this setup I could see it.

Good gameplay as always. I play a ton of Nyx and i found the Meteor Hammer usually doesnt pay off. Much better to spend that gold earlier towards dagon or kaya these days especially because skirmishes happen sooner now and hero kills give you more gold. Your solo kill potential early game is very high if you go mana boots and rush dagon right away. If you have a friend that is willing to play pugna as well you guys can blow up anyone on the map ❤️ with decrep and nether blast.

Consume aghs and buy kaya and sage or not worth it ?

The biggest strength he had this game was the ability to 1 shot all enemy heroes and then the continuous damage from soul burn. He died first because he used his dagon to farm to creep and lost his combo. Then he took euls, which is a defensive item whereas if he had gotten kaya, he would have 1 shot the ember. Every missed kill and death meant the opponent heroes got ahead and he got behind so that 1 shot capability was out of reach. That is how the game progressively became heavily unfavored from very far ahead. The second half of how the though process of a comeback workst was awesome though.

Nyx and Mag hit very hard, and is base damage that crits, they might end up being built to right click. Mag farms very fast too.

why are you not using your stun hammer combo? something like ult stun hammer dagon 2nd?

Silver edge or Scythe of vyse if you can choose the right one. Personally the PL counter is really riki’s SMOKE 100 percent miss attack and silence at the radius

fun fact, you can stun with e even if you're not hit in aghs form with nyx even if they don't hit you! as long as they're right on top of you but you also gain 40% damage reduction underground so lotus orb offlane nyx makes him very bulky against physical carries

Upgraded atos helps you to fix them abd you can use more mind breaker than octarian. Also I would buy aganim upgrade instead of upgraded travel boots

This patch is fun when your team plays dota, it's not fun when your mid/off/core all farm for an hour straight and never bother to join fights because the map is too big for their brains.

BSJ doesn't even know he has a mini ravage during Burrow and he still carries the game. Playing the map and choosing fights correctly really makes a lot of difference. I always get baited into joining bad team fights in my own games. Even as support it's great to have wave clear so you can actually do something and pressure when your team does stupid things.

That Nyx spell is so disgustingly high damage.

This should be 2 carry meta. One carry mid and then the standard carry.

this is what we want and somewhat close to real low mmr experience. teammates are feeding and doesn't know how to end game and feed away lead. it's hard for even high mmr player to close out the game

14:24 my issue with using stuns to clear waves leaves you open to getting ganked or not having a stun available for a TP/team fight, also its mana you wont have later, if im at full mana ill nuke the wave but i normally dont if im sitting at 75% or less 17:26 regarding PL, at lower MMR if it goes late and you have a PL who isnt brain dead, its usually an auto gg. tonsssss of illusions. 32:29 it is a good idea to get the regen from those pools. you could backpack the bottle when empty and keep a 900hp heal on deck. 43:50 the fact PL died there is actually impressive (its really difficult to die as PL, you almost have to actively try and unalive yourself), if it wasnt bsj id say PL was actually braindead to die there because it should be impossible to die, even without aegis. but he gets a free pass because its bsj.

is tunnelling pl late game really a good way to fight him as nyx? i would think that it'd be better to use your burst to kill gyro/lich so that pl doesnt have cc to back him up anymore + hard to kill cores arent hard to kill when they're the sole remaining target. main contraindication seems to be that only nyx seemed to have enough damage to clear illusions and prevent the whole team from dying to pl to begin with...?

Nooo I was hoping you wouldnt expose the power of the mid Nyx :( I have gone 13-1 in my placements so far on it, I prefer Phylactery over Dagon though since you have a built in Dagon now. Can swap out later game for a full level dagon but Phylactery feels so good early game when setting up ganks. Low cooldown of Mind Flare lets you proc it every time its off cooldown, and the slow helps a lot with your ganks with the new nerf onto Nyx's stun timings (also Im a lvl 25 master nyx)

if the illusion is the meta, you can carry with a pos 5 dazzle without much issue. as long your cores wasn't too dumb....

at some point forget to buy the shard after dagon lvl5
