They drop a lot of skills that you can slap onto weapons, Giant Hunt in particular is a really fun one imo.

there's a marker on your greyed out map that marks maps you can collect. after that you can check out interesting stuff on your map. ruins like the purified ruins always have a basement. don't be scared of the old crones, you'll just miss what they have to say. When that one knight after the night's cavalry made his sword glow, he was using a weapon buff and applying magic damage to his sword. Ik youre not into using spells but there are some spells that jus apply buffs, whether its to your character like your halberd or to your weapon, theres also expendable items that do the same thing, all sorts of dif types of extra damageee youd def like messing with em

I’m not sure if it’s been pointed out to you (especially since this 1 month into the future) but you accidentally triggering emotes is because souls games on PlayStation have an exclusive feature by holding down the X button doing certain motions with the controller would trigger a selected emote without having to pull up a menu. The button might be triangle button in Elden Ring as that’s the interact button instead of X. It’s been like this since Demon’s Souls on the PS3 as in that game to bring up the emote menu you had hold down the X button for a certain amount of time. It’s a novel idea but you end up using it accidentally more time than purposefully trying to use it.

Fun fact: When crayfish pee they shoot out streams of water 💀🤣. Also, memory stones do allow you to equip more spells/incantations. Lastly, the night calvary glaive has s scaling for heavy infusion.
