I think the new plane is incredible. As a Norwegian I know that widerøe is a really small airline with mostly small planes, and seeing them getting this plane is just awesome. I’m proud of them.

widerøe has been growing a lot in the last few years, and is now a huge competitor to the other norwegian airlines. however widerøe is in their own league as they offer around 400 flights each day, where most routes go to and from destinations the other airlines can’t get to. widerøe has a really good marketing strategy, and it has been putting them in their own seperate lane for decades at this point

I have flown Embraer on Alitalia from Rome to London City Airport on many occasions. They really are amazing planes with great performance, and much quieter than their counterparts (hence they're allowed to fly over the city of London during the final approach). Great video

Wonderful airplane, very elegant..we flew with the old embraer 190 from Frankfurt to Milano in May this year but this plane was very old in comparison to this new type !!

Yeah, i flew Widerøe this winter. I didn't planned, because my direct flight to AMS with KLM was canceled. They rebooked me on their Dash Q400. I had to change at Oslo Sandefjord, but I was not impressed by Sandefjord. You had to go trough the security twice. It was a good flight with breathtaking views. Especially the legroom, but that doesn't matter to me. Because i'm 12 the legroom is always good ;-)

The video and the aircraft are both great! I already flew on it from Bergen to Hamburg :D But during online check-in it only showed rows 11-end since I had a Economy Light ticket. Wonder how you were able to select seat 6? Did you buy the ticket on their website? Maybe thats the difference :D

Thank you! I booked this flight on the SAS website an I was only able to select seats from row 6 onwards. The rows 1-5 were not shown during the check-in.

A lot of the comments are rightfully praising the new E190-E2 which looks to become a phenomenal plane, but I'd like to give a shout out to that truly beautiful new terminal at Bergen. Wonderful modern architecture, very clean and very Scandinavian.

Wie cool ist das denn? Erst Boarding am Gate, dann durch die Seitentür auf´s Vorfeld. Kenne ich nur von Ryanair... Als I-Tüpfelchen dann ein Solaris Urbino als Vorfeldbus;-) Besser geht´s eigentlich nicht.
