This week on Video Dopey! Hold on to your hats Dopey Nation! Ryan Leone comes back from the edge of oblivion, and thank God he has lived to tell the tail. Starting with a gram of coke, Ryan winds up in full blown addiction battling his demons, and winding up completely addicted to fentanyl. It is a topsy turvy emotional roller coaster, with twists and turns you never could have seen coming. PLUS Howie's first proper episode on the Dopey Show, we read an email and talk dumb shit on a totally debauched LSD shooting, Ketamine infused, relapsing brand new episode of Dopey!

I was one of Ryan's patreon members from the beginning and it was clear to see that sober Ryan was very talented and he told us that if he ever started going missing that he was back to using. He thought that we wouldn't support him if he wasn't sober but that's not true for most of the patreon members. While it did suck seeing him mess up everything he had worked hard for most of us are former addicts and knew how it worked.. he was highly entertaining and I wish he would have published his book before he passed along with getting sober.. his sons are never going to know him which is heartbreaking

@@bendaves77 I loved Ryan but he was a stone cold junkie, and he was the first to admit it. Aside from his time in solitary confinement, he was always high on something. Maybe not always opiates, but never sober. His story about 3 years sobriety after prison is total bullshit.

I found Ryan at 212 or 102 subs on KZfaq. We talked a few times via social media nothing huge or anything. But I was instantly hooked when I found him. We are very similar. But I felt the same way as if he was a long time friend bc of all the insides jokes we all know from him, relatability, the way I was rooting for him, and just everything. I found out a few days ago sadly late and it has hit me hard. I’m shocked how hard it hit me, being that he was a social media friend. But was so open and relatable to me. That I felt a connection and friendship w him that so many have. Man I just am so shocked/sad, but I’m gonna continue to spread his shit and do anything I can to make all the projects happens that I know can effect and help so many.

RIP RYAN, it's sad to watch this and hear him talk about dying from his addiction if he didn't get off the fentanyl. It was almost like he predicted his own death. I was and always will be a fan for his story's, book, and art. I hope he has finally found peace and I pray his kids and wife can find a way to memorialize him and find a way to understand that he was truly powerless as he said in the interview and somehow find meaning in his death.

Got hit with 4 mg nasally and 5 intravenously when I hit a bag of carfentynl 3 years ago. I was one of the few survivors in the city from that lil batch. Even after all that Narcan I was only awake for 1 to 2 minutes rolling like an alligator on the bed in the ambulance before I went back out, they said I was breathing on my own when I went out and didn't hit me after that again. Woke up in the hospital 2 1/2 hours later with my mom sitting there. She said. I never really noticed. Your a pretty nice looking guy when I woke up. 😞. 😭. The cops took my other bags that night (the law in Michigan is you don't get charged with possession if your overdosed and they recover a personal amount). It was about 3:30 am when we left the hospital. By 8:00 am I WAS BACK AT THE SAME SPOT BUYING THE SAME BAGS... I swear this on my two beautiful children. It was my 5 year old son who heard me hit the bathroom floor that night and told my mom daddy's hurt in the bathroom. I'm the biggest scumbag on earth for not quitting then.

I just got diagnosed with ADHD at 47. I've suffered with these symptoms my whole life, and it's no joke that ADHD really fucks with your whole life. From the first med, it completely changed my life. I have chased relief my whole life by self-medicating, trying to drive the symptoms away, not even knowing the reason for it, is because of ADHD!! Thank God, I never got involved deeply with opioids and things, but with alcohol and weed. I had to stop weed, because it made me anxious as hell, and stopped drinking when I started back at college, to get my degree. But struggled daily with anxiety, severe procrastination, never felt I could be, or accomplish anything. Which brings the depression...it's a never-ending cycle of bullshit! If you suffer from ADHD, and seek relief from self-medicating, please try to take meds, taken as prescribed, for ADHD. It's worth trying it, because it could save your life!! It's really life-changing... And therapy. If you don't want to go to a therapist, there are great videos on KZfaq, and even insight, into why you do the things you do, is helpful towards changing for the better, for yourself. 😎🤙

Let me ask you. Im 42 and starting to think I have ADD/ADHD. Question is, have you had a problem where you start things but tend to never finish them? My GF is the one who really pointed it out for the first time. But I will start working on something, and while I'm at it I'll drift over to another thing, then another, and before I know it I'll be trying to work on 3, 4, or 5 things at the same time and never finish any of them ☹️

Ummm I def wouldn’t go that far. From my experience with methadone users they were able to CONSTANTLY relapse while the clinic was steady increasing their dose because it wasn’t working. Ryan didn’t fully immerse himself in the world of recovery. He held on to a lot of things from the past. He also was in a world with a lot of really famous, big people who used. I’ve been clean 8 years is of May 18 this year. Idk if I was in his world if I could have stayed clean. That’s a world most of us will never know anything about. He’s not gay imo. I think honestly alot like myself n many addicts he struggles with serious depression. Something we can’t always pinpoint. I grew up in the “popular crowd” , loving family, friends, etc. But have battled w depression n addiction. I do believe all (99.9%) of addicts esp opiates are battling depression. We just want to feel comfortable n block out any pain we can. I also think if you really look at his work he does glorify drugs at all. He’s very self deprecating, tells horror stories n things most ppl would be traumatized from.

You’re wrong. “A life long junkie”? No. Someone who battled the disease of addiction throughout his life? Yes. This battle contained periods of sobriety. He was an addict in recovery. Not a “life long junkie” . To say he will never be clean because he doesn’t want to be clean? Wrong again. Part of addiction is “falling off the wagon”. What matters is that the one who falls gets back on. So he was clean. Multiple times. Because he wanted to be. Just because someone falls doesn’t mean they necessarily wanted to…and falling off doesn’t mean one has to stay down there permanently. You say you love his stories, but you also talk about him like he’s less than you and it’s obvious that you really don’t know what you’re talking about. Do better. This was a living person, not just someone meant to entertain you while you judge him as though you have a right.

@@Bert.theflirt it’s illegal in the US but I’m sure there are places that are reputable that do it here. But I know there’s known facilities in Mexico.
