Hey, I am new to your channel. I farm in germany and drive Fendt since my father brought our 924 vario home in 2001......I was 13😅. The transmission in our 924 is not really different from what you drive, just the controlls got a bit fancier and the monitor bigger.....and we have wheels on ours😂. I drove this controll system you have in a 724 vario 2 years ago and I think it is the best from Fendt. The new Fendt one is nice, but I needed half a day to get along with it.....they changed everything and it is too complicate in my opinion. Nice to see how other people farm around the world. Everything seems to be a lot bigger where you are😅.

Thanks for watching! I won’t lie, it’s fun to farm in this area, it’s a beautiful area with good land so I’m pretty spoiled to be able to run this equipment in this area! The Fendt impressed me, I’m very used to JD equipment so this was a fun change of pace/scene

Thanks for the video. With the power that the engine is using to pull that cultivator, could the tractor be pulling a wider one.
@riverbottomfarms94932 ай бұрын
Definitely could, but we go with that specific size field cultivator for transport reasons! It’s narrower and not as tall as the bigger cultivators. 55 ft cultivator @ 6 mph = 40 ac/hr 44 ft cultivator @ 8 mph = 42.67 ac/hr

@@riverbottomfarms9493 Thanks for your reply. I like to see wide span machinery behind a tractor to get the job done faster.

Hi from Australia Awesome video mate, have you considered demoing a VT implement to work on the clumpy conditions. Stay safe...😊

We have a 40’ Great Plains Turbo Chopper also, we’d definitely like to try a turbo max in the future!

Looking forward to seeing the video in the future, perhaps your kocak dealer can arrange a demo unit...😊

We farm in the Missouri River bottom in Holt, Buchanan, and Atchison County Missouri and in the hills of Holt and Nodaway County Missouri. Our farthest north farm is located just 3 miles from the Iowa border in Nodaway County MO!

some people i worked for went to a turbo till max where you could change angle the blades as needed on the fly for places like that or fall ruts
@riverbottomfarms94932 ай бұрын
There are times where that would be nice, maybe one of these days one of those will show up! 🤷🏻♂️

Sounds like you need to try a high speed disc since you have the hoursepower

Even if it is green and says Fendt on it, for me it is and remains a Challenger.... 🤔🤷🏻♂️
@riverbottomfarms9493Ай бұрын
It is a fendt tractor with challengers heritage. You can definitely see challengers contribution in the track system and overall build. All the while is has Fendts refinement and finish, which is a great combo

I guess these use the Finnish SISU engine, not the Chinese/Brazilian/Argentinean ones..? Would probably have gone with Claas myself to get away from AGCO, but to each their own...

Set your speed on the screen and then just push joystick to the right and et goes to the set speed
@riverbottomfarms94932 ай бұрын
I did do that and enjoyed that feature! It would definitely be a nice feature when running a grain cart in the fall
@melvd3484Ай бұрын
@@riverbottomfarms9493 You can save two speeds C1 and C2. If neither C1 or C2 is selected and you put the Variostick to the right side, the tractor will hold the current speed.

Don't need a Deere if you got a Fendt.
@riverbottomfarms9493Ай бұрын
If you watch our channel more you’ll get to see that we like Deere but also appreciate the other brands available to. Last fall we ran a new 7500 Claas combine with a geringhoff corn header. Really liked that machine also, those who aren’t willing to try new things must be willing to compromise with nothing more than what they have today!

Hi I’m in the Uk and drive little Fendt’s on wheels a few years old. You could have programmed it to drop the cultivator in and go to a set speed using one button. Also what revs you’d want to turn at on the headlands plus loads of other things if you want to.
