This was my first time as a foreigner in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This is my second stop first stop on my Indonesia tour. This city has everything from food like Nasi Goreng, Indomie and Martabak to beautiful temples like Prambernan.
I even got to meet some cool kids, women and the Crisitiano Ronaldo of Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta has amazing street food, and some of the kindest people I've ever met. I go on the hunt for Prambernan and have the craziest indonesian street massage with a lady who kept trying to kiss me! The famous Malioboro street has so much life and energy, this street does not sleep.

But it's also true; we have at least 6 acknowledged religions, 37 provinces, more than 700 indigenous languages, and over 1,300 ethnic groups, spread over 17,000 islands, that's why every city, every region, has a uniqueness of its own. Yeah, most Indonesians are on average shy, and not many understand English, even though they do understand they are embarrassed to speak English (because they are afraid of being wrong). karena orang Indonesia setidaknya sudah memiliki 2bahasa di dirinya bahasa daerahnya sendiri dan bahasa Indonesia. Kalo ada orang kota hanya bisa bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Linggis, perlu di pertanyakan bahasa daerahnya sendiri yg harusnya bisa juga wkwk

In Yogyakarta, sweet martabak called terang bulan but egg martabak or savory martabak called martabak. So sweet martabak has various names according to the city. Thank you for visiting in Indonesia and loving Martabak

Finally, you arrived in Indonesia too, welcome bro, enjoy the trip, be happy, stay kind and smile when meeting local residents, don't hesitate to ask beforehand about what can and can't be done with local wisdom to expedite the journey, at traditional market/souvenir tourist spot, you can also bid on the price of goods with proper value for your own needs, not re-business. when I saw those kids trying to speak with u, suddenly I remember when I was at the same age like those kids. My teachers force me to talk with "bule" (foreigners) as much as I can. But, in that time. I was too shy and scared to try. But those kids! They're awesome! they try so hard to have a conversation with u. I love it how u tryin to reach 'em, brother.

These are the places you might try to visit during your stay in Jogjakarta : - Prambanan - Borobudur and Bukit Patuk - Lava tour Merapi - Keraton (The Sultan Palace) - Parangtritis Beach - Malioboro and Beringharjo Market - Alun-alun at night And you should try to eat Gudeg, Bakmi and Tengkleng for sure bro 👍🏻😁

Welcome to Jogja bro Waseem.! The city is very rich in culture. I suggest you to visit Prambanan & Sewu temple in the same complex. FYI on 21 th March there will be Pangerupukan ceremony by hindust in Prambanan. A day before Nyepi ( Hindust day of silent) to the north east you can explore also Plaosan Buddhist Temple. More less 1,5.km from Prambanan. Enjoy your evening in Malioboro street. Go to Sultan palace/ Karaton. Every Sunday before midday we can enjoy classical dance. Have a great time!.

Anda harus datang pagi dan siang hari kalo ingin melihat candi prambanan. Klo terlalu sore pasti sudah tutup. Dan anda harus lewat depan, pintu masuk..dan anda harus membeli tiket. Anda sebaiknya bertanya pada orang yg tahu cara masuk ke candi prambanan.
