I am a 75 year old grandma living with my 2 dogs, 18 chickens, 5 ducks and two rabbits! I love watching your family on you tube. It has become a daily practice to search for yours and others channels to see what is happening in your lives. I feel like I am living vicariously through you all and seeing how I wish I could of lived my life! Brings much joy to an old lady!!!

Just a lot of hard work. I ❤️ watching my favorite YT farm families. Especially all the delightful personalities & fun they have together. 👍❤️🙏🏼

I still like the idea of the license plates on the chicken house so we can enjoy seeing them when you’re taking care and feeding them. And also in the room above. You’re probably going to be getting many more.

It's your homestead so you do what you want with the liscence plates, but if they're in the house I would miss seeing them for sure.

Hey guys. So glad y'all enjoyed the salsa. The HH stands for habanero hot. The pepper jelly is served over cream cheese with wheat thins. Those goodies have a more-ish taste. The more you eat the more you want. I loved watching ya'll open your gifts. Everyone was so thoughtful!

My husband Richard Kilman is in Barnes Jewish hospital in St Louis with covid and we would sure appreciate your prayers! He's out of ICU and off the ventilator! I usually skip over the “gifts and goodies” vlogs on KZfaq but decided to watch yours because I’m such a fan of the channel. Interestingly, I have to say, it was absolute pleasure seeing your excitement and true appreciation as a family! On many channels, I don’t see the authenticity, but rather a “going through the motions” to generate another video. This morning I’m really glad I spent the time. Ya’ll I need to get yourself an Amazon affiliate program going I’d love to buy prayer flags and have it benefit you. I bought pennants last year because I couldn’t find prayer flags quick enough, and just that movement kept the deer out of my garden this year. The whole summer I did not have any deer in the garden at all and the only difference were The flags and in fact I grew more food!

Could you have license plates on two different places, please. Maybe the chicken coop and the upstairs room? If you have license plates from the same state twice, you could put one on a coop and the other upstairs.

This is an AWESOME IDEA, all duplicates could go inside upstairs. So many viewers would miss NOT seeing them outside on the coops. I've seen them commenting about it in the comments.

Having an Amazon list allows subscribers to send you something you need and allows them to feel like part of the farm. Better they can select something you need or want than to send you something that can’t be used.

I think it would be nice to get a book of some kind and record what you receive and from whom they come. It would be fun to look back even years later at all the wonderful gifts you have received. So when you open the gifts, be sure and keep the name & addresses with each gift so you can properly thank them for their loving gifts.

The licenses plates when yall do the farm chores...but covering the walls of your podcast room would be amazing and in keeping with the whole Cog Hill Farm aesthetic yall got going on!! Here is a name for you. The Cogcast Happy mail. As far as the plates and signs, I would love to see them just like at the other Cog Hill farm. Outside on the coups and on posts. Maybe on the wall behind you when you record the podcast. The plates and signs were a fun thing to see. Just my opinion. Loved watching today. Lots of fun

I like "Christmas at Cog Hill (every month!)". That was fun! My only suggestion is that there was quite a bit of shadow over the table so some things were hard to see. It was, however, easy to see just how appreciative you all were of everything! God bless!

Everything was difficult to see w the shadow & being so far away. I'm trying to watch this on a phone & most signs I couldn't even read unless you said what they read. But this was their very 1st "20 from the 40" & I'm positive they'll get better as they go along.👍🏻

All channels have an Amazon wishlist. They choose something's in all price ranges. So don't be shy to make all your wishes come true. When someone chooses an item off your list, amazon will remove it from the list so you don't get 10 of one item. But if you want multiple items make sure to put how many you want. Everyone has mail call of some sort, but you do need a cool name for it. You recieved some very cool personal & handmade gifts, and I loved all the special signs. Besides getting more license plates. Thank you for sharing.

Brooke: *Re: the Pepper Jelly:* In the 90s, my ex's go-to dip was a block of cream cheese with pepper jelly poured over it. For Christmas pot -luck, he used red pepper jelly on one end & green on the other. The plate was always licked clean! I wasn't one for spicy food & i never tried it - so honestly i can't tell you if it's spicy or not. But it was a HUGE hit at gatherings. Peop!e would actually ask him to be sure he was bringing it. He always thought it was funny: " It's not some big secret recipe. It's *TWO* ingredients... Well. Three, if you count the crackers! "

Sure would like to see the license plates outside where we could see them everyday. If you put them inside, you would be the only ones to enjoy them. Maybe you could get enough plates to do both inside and out. I love watching your channel.

In Australia such foreign seeds would be illegal, as such can be a bio hazard, introducing new pests or plant deseases. Here customs could confiscate such, and even raise fines. Some seeds have even brought in other seeds than the ontended, as extra seeds of other plants were mixrd in. Caution is always advisable with foreign bio materials!

@@tanyajenkins919 it's nothing political. It does happen that you can get sent evasive species of seeds that can ruin an entire farm crop. That's how we ended up with some of the wild grasses that can ruin an entire pasture.

It has been Illegal in this country for decades also for exactly the same reasons as you stated. It is surprising that they actually made it through Customs. I doubt they were labeled properly by the sender or they would have been flagged. But, it was a kind gesture by her.

Watch out for foreign seeds! Could be a problem ! Verify with dept of agriculture before you plant them. Brooke, good idea to freeze them. Put them in many ziplock bags first.

I’ve heard about foreign seeds being sent to people. Only buy your seeds from reputable companies. Don’t accept any in the mail if you don’t know the source. Many of the invasive plants in this country have come across the world on tankers also.

This is fun..one suggestion is but the boxes on a different table and then bring one forward and lay all the stuff out as you open them for us to see. Then move it off when you are done.
