I saw another video when the guy kept on the outer tie rods he was having a hard time getting the room and caused a line leak pulling on shit to hard. I definitely think u did the right way because if you have the outer tie rods off u have more room to work on it

Best video on KZfaq when it comes to rack and pinion. Clear and concise. I have a question regarding the tire rod. If you miscounted or forgot the number of turns and your steering wheel is now off centered (8 & 2) vs (9 & 3). What can you do now?

Can I have the exact names for both bushings if possible please thanks.

Is there anything under the boot on the rack that can fail? Or mostly the bushings that you replaced fail? My 2000 tundra does the same exact thing.

Bushing only

in Toyota maintenance service center , they said I have to change everything .. the full " Rack and Pinion" even if I don't have leaks or torn rubber , do you think I should give your solution a try ?
@alltsab Жыл бұрын
My 10cent is that not broken or bad just leave it alone. As long it safe condition don't replace it. Only repair whatever it broken don't replace because old.
