Bobby, I’m currently deployed overseas and your videos are getting me through missing this season. Fred is a heck of a dog and the hunts this year have been dang good! I can’t wait to get home to my dog and get after them next year. Keep up the good work

13:23 awww mannn....so scary man.. Literally a fear of mine when getting in a full blind. I normally like to establish firing lanes and gun safety regardless with how seasoned a hunter is just because you can never be too safe. Then I do a quick prayer and then we get it in shooting light lol but I appreciate you leaving that in there, because it just goes to show how easy something like that can happen and how you should always be aware

I have been shooting a Briley Snow Goose Extreme Range choke for 12 years now. They only time I take it out is for teal season. I want them birds crunched when I hit them. And if you can’t afford to shoot the high dollar Heavy Shot or Tungsten it will help you kill a lot more birds. Lot more steel shot on target.

Howard leight impact sports are where it's at. $40, hearing amplification for everything below 85 db, and the left and right microphones are separate so you can actually use them to locate sounds. Use 'em for duck and deer. You can hear everything in the woods

I take an extra set of AAA batteries just in case, and with the binaural microphones means you never miss a beat. Even comes in camo pattern. No excuse for a lack of ear pro in a full blind!

Hey Bobby, an idea for a spread that should help decoy those big flocks is creat a wall with the decoys nice and thick like you have them and then the rest of them keep about 8-10 feet apart, I don’t hunt lessers I get just greeters but when you have a good area for them to land in the decoys so they can get right in the middle of the feed they will circle a lot less and drop right in, another way to tell if your decoys are to tight is when they hover so much instead of going right to the ground means they can’t find a spot to land and those first few birds that do that can cause the rest of the flock to flair off, just a tip that works great for great Canada might work well for massive flocks of lessers to

Many of our good cacklers hunts are ones where we are on the vicinity of the mother load. Smaller flocks come in to take a look at the spread. I hate shooting when there are a thousand birds in the air. Most hunters pull out around 10 or so, the geese rarely get shot at in the afternoon and they will slide right in. My father was in WW2. Flew combat missions in a B24 in China. His hearing loss was a 12ga in gunnery school and not the 50cal he used to fight off Zeros.

Props to you Bobby for hunting with people you barely know. I wouldnt even say it's people being unsafe it comes more from lack of reverence of your weapon. IMO of course. Was in the Army for a long time and I cant even go to gun fairs comfortably. What I see makes my skin crawl lol just want to start barking at people 😂

Good vid, Bobby, as for chokes, I have shot a remington 1100 semi auto which has a skeet barrel on fully open, since I was a teenager. I have only shot it on duck and geese with two and three quarter tungsten loads - kills well at 40 to 50 yards. Also, I have a Beretta ultra light multi choke game gun, I have always had two open chokes on it on the driven partridge and pheasant. I think it's just individual preference to get the job done. Fred's still doing really well. Hope you get on well with your new choke. As for someone shooting near to your ear in the blind - not very nice! Yeah you did shoot shit Bobby! Malc and Ann UK xx
