It’s got adjustable Marzocchi forks with rebound and compression clickers so it’s not terrible by any means. I’ve only done about 350km or so so not out them through the ringer but haven’t had any complaints on the road/gravel. The rear shock is adjustable too but disappointingly it’s preload is via the old style collar system and not a turn wheel. It’s ok for the task at hand since this isn’t aimed at jumping erosion mounds and the like.

Hi Alen! 👋 I think it is definitely worth consideration. Personally for a complete beginner to motorcycles I’d recommend a smaller bike with a forgiving clutch like a Royal Enfield 350. As a first ADV bike though the Moto Morini would be very good to learn the ropes on. You will want the crash protection as it has a lot of plastic on it, but it is a stable and forgiving platform on dirt roads and has marginally more ground clearance than the Suzuki. The only unknown will be whether it is as indestructible as the DL or CB500X - time will tell.

Yes I’ve since found the ABS is switchable in off-road mode! Definitely adds another reason to opt for this over some of the other options out there

@@OnThrottle That’s cool 😎 my sister lived. in NZ on the Chatham Islands until a few months ago , she is back in AUS for awhile, her other half is a Kiwi and owns the mechanic business on the island 🏝. I hired a bike on the South Island a few years ago and rode around, fantastic riding will definitely be going back again .

Thanks! Yeah that was my conclusion too. Seems having different visual “modes” for the TFT dash is becoming more popular. Definitely think the off-road mode looks the coolest.
