awww cute little birbs 😀 I really really want to try the ampersand boards, they usually get pretty good reviews and its always nice to know you can fix any mistakes

I've been following some scratchboard artists on FB and have been thinking of getting a scratch paper for some (long) time. Good reminder and very interested again. Appreciate your experimenting, and yeah, it is a bit awkward working backwards, kind of like negative painting. Lovely sparrow! 🤗

I've never tried them, so I'm not sure... the best way to find out is to try it yourself 😊

Hi Kirsty, I had an unrelated question. How do you create your traceable outlines? Do you use photoshop or something? Thanks, and btw I really love this artwork of the birds, so beautiful I am also practicing these types of sparrows and finch birds! :)

If you are a member on Patreon, I have a step by step video showing you how (it's hard to explain without showing you!) I do use Photoshop (there are a few steps involved) but you can also use free websites like iPiccy and use the "sketch" filters to make a simplified version 😊

Wishing to join your patreon from past few months but as I am from India hence facing issues regarding the payment.. kindly start KZfaq membership where you can add contents from patreon...thus it would be helpful for people like us . Really wish to learn from you.

Hi Aayotee, Unfortunately, I would have to make the prices of the tier levels on KZfaq memberships quite a lot higher because the fees on KZfaq are ridiculously high compared to Patreon and I don't think that would be fair! KZfaq also doesn't allow me to add downloadable content, which means I can't give you the reference photos to use I'm hoping Patreon will sort out their issues with payments from places like India so you can join in the future!
