Join us as we vlog our travel from the island of Koh Phangan to Koh Samui in Thailand. We arrive, rent a scooter, and go to our hotel. Then we hit the road looking for rocks shaped like rude things. #adventure #thailand #vlog

They dont sell alcohol between 2 and 5 pm...i heard that is because that time many children have end of school time...safe on the road maybe

Ahh that would make scene I suppose. I heard someone say it was so construction workers didn't sneak off at lunch time. I suppose it amounts to the same thing 😂

We are here right now! Staying in Bo Phut, awesome. 🏴 a couple of Scots who now live in Perth Western Australia

Nice! I have already left Samui. Otherwise we could have started a Scottish expat group. We could have drank heavily and swore at each other. I can't think what else to do 🤣

My fav island is koh lanta
@NoPlanDann3 ай бұрын
I never made it to Koh lanta. Only made it to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.

Looks lovely there, especially with the sun. I do think you could have gone somewhere cheaper so your birthday money would have covered the full meal, or even eaten less, sticking to one main meal instead of two hahaha

Haha I thought I would splash out for my birthday. I really enjoyed my birthday meal from you of three quarters of a chicken salad 😂

What's the name of the hotel you stayed in? I'm going to samui this Sunday!
@NoPlanDann3 ай бұрын
Hey, the hotel is called The Beach Samui. It's on the south side of the island so about 30 minutes from the ferry port. Maybe 45 minutes from the airport. It's a great location and well worth the trip if you want to experience a more quiet side to Koh Samui

I don't know if this was meant as an insult or not, but I love it! I might actually change my channel name to Monger Plan Dan 😀

It's called The Beach Samui. It's on the south side of the island away from the town. It's a really nice quiet location. With a good selection of restaurants and food within a 2 minute walk
@NoPlanDann3 ай бұрын
@memermaid5464 that was a joke to my girlfriend about my/our usual budget for accommodation. It was close to £80 a night. Thailand is catching up to Europe price wise.

@@NoPlanDann thanks Dan I'm heading back to Thailand in 3 weeks and ive never been to Koh Samui I want quiet and comfortable with a beach front
@NoPlanDann3 ай бұрын
@1stNflight910 no worries, it's perfect for that. You have a great noodle place a 100 meters away. The menu is all in Thai but the staff speak English and are really friendly. Best noodles I have had in Thailand hands down

Are you required to wear a helmet when riding your motorcycle
@NoPlanDann2 ай бұрын
Yes. It is the law you have to wear a helmet in Thailand. However, it isn't really enforced and depending where you are in Thailand you will see between 20 and 80% of people not wearing one.
