Hi SeungHyun & Sarah, first of all welcome to malaysia. Well, you should get your coffee at local coffeeshop (kopitiam) instead of cafe because that's where you get the best coffee. You can try normal coffee, white coffee, cham / hainanese tea (mix of coffee & tea)

five-foot way (kaki lima). mainly in southeast asia especially msia, spore, brunei, thailand, indonesia, lao and also southern china. if not mistaken, commercial (shoplots) buildings in msia, spore must have kaki lima

It's such a joy just to watch the two of you. Great chemistry. By the way, we Malaysian travel all the way from KL just to eat and enjoy the food in Penang. Somehow it's always more authentic there and you can never get the same taste in KL.

I love all the noodles stalls and the oyster omelette at Seng Thor. It is at the start of Kimberly Street, which has a lot of great noodles and breakfast street food even dim sum, all the way to the other end. My favorite street to eat in the morning.

We walked by in passing and they all looked good. We didn't get to try the food there, but maybe next time we visit Penang we would like to try more food in Kimberly Street. Thanks for the comment!

Pandan is a leave commonly used as food flavour. The guy is right - oyster omelette is normally cooked not as long. The chef was either worried you may get tummy ache or oysters aren't fresh ...

I have been enjoying your travel videos. Much respect for setting a goal of visiting so many countries by the end of 2023. Have you considered getting a microphone that you can wear around the shirt? The audio quality can be improved that way. Other than that, I like the editing and the videography.

I'm glad you're enjoying Penang. Anyway, just to let you know, it's important that you differentiate "pandan" from "pondan" in Malay to avoid confusion or miscommunication, which could be possibly be embarrassing. "Pandan" means "screwpine leafs", and it relates to the flavour. Meanwhile, "pondan" means "transsexual".

According to the man eating next to us, the omelettes are typically more moist and a bit wet compared to the one we had

Actually for first time durian eaters...you should kick off with eating durian ice cream so that its not over whelming in your mouth.
