First Impressions of Roma Norte - Neighborhood in Mexico City

Жыл бұрынRoma Norte and Roma Sur are two amazing neighborhoods in Mexico City. All the travel blogs call them "cool, hip and trendy." We had to go see for ourselves what all the fuss was about.
This was part of a larger trip to Mexico City. It was the fourth neighborhood we were exploring in CDMX. We had a good idea of what to expect! But, as usually with this amazing city...it blew us away!
Hey! We are Geo and Allie. We sold our house, bought a Sprinter Van and hit the Road. Geo runs a business from the road and Allie focuses on putting her energy into the kids education and our next destination. We are originally from Baltimore MD, but our travels will take us all around the country.

Hey guys! You mentioned different places you have visited but you didn´t mention Guadalajara in Jalisco state. I hope you come to visit this city soon, you´ll be gratefully surprised of how beautiful it is. Land of Mariachi, Tequila and delicious food.

Thanks so much for the kind comment! Really appreciate it. We stayed in downtown CDMX and visited Roma since it was a short subway ride. The airbnb we stayed in was nothing special or I would recommend. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Ah I wish I could! We did not stay there long enough for me to confidently recommend a good spot! We really enjoyed all of Roma Norte! Have a great trip.

Checo, I hear you! We experienced a ton of traditional markets also. They each have their own take aways. The food at the traditional markets in Mexico City and Coyoacan was a little better! 😃

Hello there ! U r so rigth when you brought out the bakery issue on the table, I'was born in Mexico city and now I'm resident in Vancouver Canada and I gotta tell you that the bakery and coffee here is really mediocre and deplorable big disappointment so u better knock yourself out with all the goodies down there !! there are some interactive museums for children that are super super incredible... I hope you enjoy Mexico a lot and don't forget to charge 🧽🧴🧼🤲🏻 to avoid stomach problems
