Episode 3! Key west was beautiful, did some shopping, and partying in this one!

The drive is def worth it!! The entire florida keys drive is one of the most scenic you can ever take

Why no Hemingway house or other sights. You missed the real feel of Key West

If there were kiddos on the ship, your duck would be long gone. Adults don't scan the floors looking for stuff they are tall.

The car ride traveling to Key West is one of the best things I've done stopping at all the sites along the way. Key West is so cool walking the neighborhood early morning was absolutely serene and beautiful. The water so refreshing a must do.

Love keywest… we stayed 2 blocks off Duvall street at a bed and breakfast for a week.. we parked the car and rode bikes everywhere the week we stayed there. Even the cemetery was cool to go see…on of our best vacations to date …Need to drive down once…. It is a beautiful drive.

I LOVE KEY WEST!!!! Lived there for 10 years, met my husband there and had our first child there. I cried for 3 years wanting to move back, but it was for the best. Been in Bradenton for 21 years and it's been wonderful. Now I will finish watching this and wish I was there too!!! I was a concierge there at the Hyatt and my husband had a fishing charter boat that he ran out of A & B Marina.

Been to key West 2x…you need to walk to southern most point and get key lime pie. You missed the main drag with all the bars. Key west is a party place …after the cruise ships leave so you need to go for a stay. The drive is beautiful! (Tip: research where you are going👍🏼)

I thought you would go to Hemingway House or the southernmost spot. Also, you didn't hit any of the local drinking holes. You definitely need to come back to the keys.

To me the road trip from Miami to key west is wonderful. The little restaurants are great, so many fish options. Tons of shrimp for kyle. The beaches have been written up as some of the best in the US and the world. Hope you saw the sunset on the boat..the highlight of Mallory pier is the location for the sunsets!

You absolutely need to go back for a few days. Duval St at night is rocking!! Don't miss Sloppy Joe's. Also, if you go in late April, the Conch Festival is so crazy!

I’m from NY and 5 years ago I flew to Miami and drove to key west not only was it a beautiful drive but I loved key west I only spent 4 days there and I plan on going back in the near future !!! Safe travels and best wishes 👍👍👍

If you think that plane flew low, check out the planes landing in St. Maarten. They literally fly over the beach. Beautiful pearl necklace. Wear it in health, Casey!

I was in Key West this past November on my RC cruise Mother Daughter trip. we loved Key West! We did the Hop on/Hop off trolley which takes you around the "island" and you get to hop off anywhere you want to and then hop back on when you're ready to go to another spot. So convenient and entertaining. The drivers are great and really know their Key West History. We went to Ernest Hemingway's house which was really cool and nostaligic. Did a little shopping too. Then we had conch fritters and key Lime pie at a little food booth. YUMMY. We also had a few drinks at a cute little bar/restaurant called Rams Head Southernmost. Definitely want to go back!

I know I've said it a long while ago before I left KZfaq but these cruises KP and others go on with him are the best. Can't wait until the family cruise.

You have not been to the keys if you have not driven. Canadian here been few times..The drive is a good learning experience- see the old Flagler Railway, see the bridges. Beautiful 🤗

Loved key west! We did a week vacation there in 2020 and stayed at southernmost resort. We loved every minute of it!! I know you don’t want to drive.. but do it! The drive was absolutely gorgeous going over all the bridges!! Talk about views ❤ we had our 3 kids with us and stopped all along the way, they loved it and still talk about that vacation

Been there....but like 40 years ago. Yeah it's changed a little, and last time we drove there, still remember those bridges!!

Kyle we flew from Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale a few years ago rented a car there and drove to keywest I believe it was almost 4 hours and the drive was absolutely beautiful and breath taking highly recommend! I’m more of a flyer myself so being in a car that long I wasn’t thrilled about but being surrounded by the water and the views was just so amazing I would highly recommend doing that!

We love the Keys, it is a great Florida getaway. We drive down a few hours (3 hours from US in West Palm area, not bad at all) and onto Island life, immediately everything relaxes. We usually stay on Isalmorada or Marathon more in the mid-Keys and spend 1 day down in Key West. Next time drive down for a long weekend, take the trip to Dry Tortugas (plan several months in advance for sea plane or ferry) and rent your own boat to spend a day at one the many sandbars or a fishing guide. You missed the Hemingway House, Duval Street, the Southern most point, Keys is a party place, you missed so much amazing food and drinks! Driving down you can also visit Everglads and Bay Biscane Natioanl Parks. Come on Kyle, there is more to Florida than Disney and Cruises, really dive in!

I was in the Keys when I was younger with my parents and brother. What I remember it was SUPER hot, we got key lime pie on a stick (which melted very fast) and ate some delicious conch fritters! 😊

The keys is peaceful until you get to duval street, especially at night time. That’s where all the night life happens. You need to check it out next time you go.

It is a beautiful ship and yes Key West I love. It just seems so quiet onboard.

VV employee here ;) ! As far as your point with the beer dispenser station and "Young" adults onboard not being carded. Rest assured, it is unattended BECAUSE VV ships are under Bohemian Flag, meaning legally as the ship travels, it is considered "International" waters, even when doing sailings out of Miami! :D So that means 18 and older (all we allow onboard) can DRINK! Key West is awesome! My grandparents had a house on Cudjoe Key (MM 23). I used to go down there every year. So much fun.

Wyland is my favorite artist. I did an Art Theory research study on his work and conservation mission. There is or at least was a gallery at Port Canaveral attached to Fish Lips. And Casey’s necklace is gorgeous.

Do yourself a favor and do a little research. Do the road trip down the keys to Key West, there is a lot to see along the way. Can't believe you were in Key West and didn't go to the Southern Most Point in the US. :) But since you didn't have many days on the ship and you live in Florida - why not enjoy the ship now and enjoy the Keys later? Also Carnival Liberty is one of the older Carnival ships, but you should enjoy depending on your ports. I like the eastern Caribbean itinerary.

Love Key West they’re walking ghost tour is awesome and you definitely have to go to Duval Street. Sunset at Mallory Square is something that you have to do at least once then you have Irish Kevins and sloppy Joe’s definitely a destination that you should go to when you’re not on a cruise ship, and if you do go there, you have to go to the southernmost point to see the big bouy and over there they have a great hotel, the southernmost point there’s so much to do I spent five days there just because there’s so much to do

You have to drive to Key West. Driving over the water is beautiful and it gives you the opportunity to stop at the other keys.

The Harry Truman little house was the former presidents mansion away from Washington DC. JFK used it during The Cuban Crisis & Bay of Pigs and Jimmy Carter peace treaty. Key Lime Pies. The boardwalk is famous for evacuating for hurricanes.

You should drive to the Keys some time. The first time we drove there, I said never again. But the drive is so beautiful, we have driven there 7 or 8 times. I always recommend that you take the hop on hop off tour. Everyone should go to the Hemingway house. It is so interesting and on the bus, they tell so much info about Key West. And Key West is usually packed with people and it is wild there! Your impression was very different.

We were there a few years back. My friend just bought a house in old Town. We might want to go back and visit. It would be cool if you went and explored for a series. It's a bit of a drive from Tampa Bay but worth it,:)

Key West is bomb been 3-4 times. Next times go to the southern point and beach to walk the town simply gorgeous.

I've been to Key West several times. You must do the drive at least once. It's a beautiful drive with many great stops along the way. Next time in Key West stop at some of the iconic bars, so much fun.

You should definitely take a drive down to Key West some day. A half day cruise stop is not enough! We rented a convertible at MIA and drove the few hours down once… crazy gorgeous views from the bridges. Such a fun time! 10/10 highly recommend!

Key West is great. You do need to go back. There was a lot more to Key West. You can rent a golf Cart to explore it more. The road trip to the keys would be worth it. So you can explore all of the Florida Keys... But great blog. Been a lot better and a little longer which is good.

Best pizza at sea has been on Princess cruise line. (I believe it’s called Alfredo’s pizza), but it is woodfired pizza and it’s amazing. They also have a great apple tart. You do have to wait, but it’s free. I’ve been on 4 cruise lines- so I’ve compared.
