Some nonsense about the USB 3 being used internally for the wireless. Which could be the case but I have a device with the same SoC which has 4 USB 3.0 ports, they should have added a hub internally if this is truly the issue.

@timmturner Exactly there Must be Space for USB 3.0 Ports The Forn Factor of the Box has been Increased too We've seen Raspberry Pi's , Latte Panda with upto 4 USB 3.0 Ports and 2 Type 3.0 Ports So why this cheap way of Cost Cutting? H96 Android Boxes Exist with 2 ,3 USB 3.0 Ports and a Freaking Clock on the Front Space is never a issue

@@adityapathak2046 I went ahead and ordered the device to test it, I'm super tired of using the Chromecast with Google TV and my other device running the S922X doesn't have L1 Widevine. If it doesn't meet my needs I will likely return it and get a Homatics Box R 4K Plus which is essentially the same device but has USB 3

6:44 Give this Improving Dialogue Setting on Previous Mecool Boxes too There are lot of Issues with Dialogue loudness and Clearity over TV Speakers (I use MeCool KM2)

You're already using tv speaks, unless its a highend Sony or LG you're only going to get so good tv audio.

FYI, a by Google Android TV certified device will keep the Android TV GUI (Homescreen and settings menus), and not gonna change to the Google TV GUI. The GUI can get a different look, depending on the Google updates it will get, but still, it will stay on Android TV GUI despite every update. If an update to Android TV V12 will come for this box (as for several other devices already), it still will be Android TV on Homescreen.

Waiting for USB3.2 and more regular patches. Listen customers is always best approach.

I get 960 mbps hard wired and 880 mbps via WiFi. The speed is definitely one of its strengths.

Cool video I just got mine yesterday and been working with it I just can't figure out how to turn on and off my TV and receiver with one power button every time I put the TV to power button it changes my receiver button so it only allows one to use the power button , if you can give me any I site o how to make them both work that would be great.

Why do you not like the Numbers on the Remote? They make it better, I hate remotes with minimal buttons like Dish Networks current remote compared to the older deluxe remote with a live TV button so you can just press that button to return to live TV instead of trying to remember which button to hold down 9the Back Button I think) to return to live TV, Page buttons and Cancel Button, you just hit the button labeled with what you want to do. The Number buttons make it so you can punch in channel numbers directly. Also is there a revised version of the MECOOL KM2 PLUS DELUXE? Because on Amazon it says it only has a 10/100 Ethernet Port.

What about volume control ? I have this device KM2 PLUS DELUXE And nearly all of my movies.I watched are action type and the background noise or Music music is so loud that I have to turn the volume down And then backup to hear the voices.

I just got mine few hours ago and I opened Netflix to check Dolby vision & atoms Then the small window appears just atmos working. How can I turn Dolby vision? I have Hisense U7H support Dolby vision & atmos and it has 4 HDMI 2.1 2 input 4K 60ghz and the other two 4K 120ghz which one is the best?

Is there anything special I need to do to get the LAN port to work? I plugged in an ethernet cable, but it's not connecting. At first, I thought it was the cable, but after trying another I realized it wasn't working. Anyone else having this issue? If so, how did you solve it?

It’s android tv. I like it better than the Google TV . because you cannot remove apps from the home screen on Google TV.

Et à Quoi servira un port usb 3.0 dans ce genre d'équipement ? Le boîtier a du wifi 6 et l'usb 2.0 peut monter à un débit de 480 Mbits/s , soit largement suffisant pour regarder un film 4k haut débit. Je l'ai testé et je suis amplement satisfait des performances de cette box.

It depends... The Mecool KM2 Plus Deluxe has Dolby Vision and Netflix cerification, but it has only 32 gb of internal storage and doesn't have USB 3.0. The KM6 Deluxe has not Dolby Vision and Netflix certification, but it has 64 gb of internal storage and one usb 3.0. I have KM6 Deluxe and i think that is not woth to change because i don't care about Netflix. My priority is more internal storage to keep my files and download many apps and Android games.

Hello, I have wired or unwired WiFi 2.4 speed of 200 Mbits. But when I use Surfschark it drops to 98 Mbits. Is this correct. Greetings from the Netherlands.

And yet another total failure from mecool. The fact that there is no USB 3.0 port on a deluxe version is still acceptable, but the fact that they advertise that all formats are perfectly supported and run properly and then draw comparisons to Nvidia Shield TV (although I would like to point out at this point that nVidia does not offer any kind of service after the warranty has expired) is absolutely unacceptable in view of the fact that the formats are not functional. After some tests, which every user here is welcome to carry out themselves if they are in possession of the box, it does play Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision is also possible, but only in conjunction with Netflix, which means that Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision simply only work with Netflix and other streaming providers and not with KZfaq or videos from the hard disk. However, this is different with other providers that work accordingly, so be careful when shopping otherwise you will unfortunately be annoyed!
