I don't think i will ever consider myself as a Voivod fan but it's always interesting to hear what flavors they bring to the table. Like them or not, they are very unique and i have a huge amount of respect for them. Dan Mongrain is doing a hell of a job in this band considering how odd and intricate Piggy's playing and composing was. Plus, it's always nice to hear anglophones pronouncing Québec properly, kudos to you man!

I wasn't 100% sold on this but I was OK with it for the most part. A couple of passages actually kind of reminded me of Dirk Wears White Socks-era Adam & the Ants....

Bought it and hated it..... didn't understand what the f I was listening to. Few years later I understood their genious... Now I say this just may be the best Fn record ever recorded!

I'm more of a fan of their first three albums as they were more raw metal. Beginning with Dimension Hatross, Voivod started to go more progressive and when they release Nothingface they were fully progressive and lost all of that aggressive thrash/punk. Pretty much lost touch with the band after Nothingface came out. Still going to have to go back to the first album War and Pain and being my favorite. And possibly in my top ten favorite albums of all time. Little Mikey played the crap out of War and Pain while sitting in his room.
