Thanks, Neighbor Stan, for coming down and helping out, and taking over the filming! A BIG Congratulations to Blue! Those are two beautiful babies! I'm glad her delivery for both went well, and that both babies were able to latch on and get the much needed colostrum to get all the anti-bodies passed down from Mama Blue to the babies. Kyle and Shannon, you both did a good job of being calm around Blue, and giving her space and waiting until she would allow you to pick up the babies and transport them to their new home. Congratulations on Shady Acres Farm's first live birth!! Such a surprise, but so exciting!!

What a wonderful surprise!! Congrats on the new goatlets! Blue is being an awesome mom and the babies are just PRECIOUS! As an armchair farmer and homesteader, it looks like you did a GREAT job in letting nature take its course. I'm sure if Blue had continued to ignore the brown one you would have intervened. I've been through new babies on the farm since I could walk. But I still loved watching the two of you experience it for the first time. Not because I thought it was funny, but because I know that feeling and its amazing. It was great to share this moment with you.

Congratulations on your new additions! What a lovely surprise. Blue did a great job and both you and Shannon did wonderful job at keeping it together for first time assisting in a goat birthing and especially being former city folks. Now Spruce is a big step brother and he will be teaching them the ins and outs of being spoiled by you and Shannon. I look forward to more adventures of all the goats and kids. Blue Cactus dairy farms is a great channel to watch on birthing and raising goats, but you guys are pros now. They are so adorable. I can see you and Shannon not getting much sleep for a few nights.

Kyle's face through that whole process! It ran the gamut from panic to wonder and awe. Ya'll did great on your first live births. Especially since it was a surprise. Good job done by all. Had to watch this twice it was so heartwarming.

Congratulations on the safe arrival of your new goatlets. Blue did a great job with the delivery and loves her babies. It sure helped that Blue wasn't a 1st time mother and knew what to do. Goats scream really loud when giving birth as labour pains really hurt but well worth it. Nice colouring on both the babies. Now you'll know what to expect when Momma has hers. 😁 Thank you Stan for your great camera work. It couldn't have been done without you.

OMG you guys have me in tears. No one fainted, no one up chucked. You did good! Spruce said but that is my room. Feed Spruce outside the pen, Mario in Goatville, Blue with her babies and the rest in their usual spots. Start building another addition Kyle. Oh how exciting!!! Two babies!!! I’m so very happy for you all. This is the best …. The cleaning up is very healthy for her. So tiny!!! I hope there is another one! Hurc learned a very important lesson. Blue came in fighting/resisting now we all know why.Bless her heart for all of the stress she went through during her pregnancy. Put her and babies in Spruces nursery where yall feed Mario and start feeding him on the other side of the fence out in the goatville pasture with the gate shut and keep doing what you are doing with everyone else. Congrats on the new babies. I cant wait to see the antics this causes LOL.

For raising goats, I've learned a.lot from watching Zion Creek Farm. Shaun explains all things goats very well and makes great goat milk soap! He did a great job of explaining goat milk sharing technique- so the babies get enough milk, but they get some milk for making soap, too. Prayers for health and safety!🙏❤🙏🐐

For future reference…..just make sure the second baby has a clear nasal,passage and can breathe. She is busy cleaning the first and will finish the second. Just leave them where they are for a few hours. Then take them up to the shelter before night fall. She’s a good momma, she knows exactly what she’s doing 🥰

Your willingness to be filmed while frankly expressing your uncertainty and your awesome wonder at this first-time birthing in your farm experience is welcome to both old hands at rural living and to newcomers to the life-style. We old-timers can relive the joy of seeing the babies and remember the questions and worries we had when we were new at the game. We might shake our heads, smile, and question if we were ever that new/green. Then our grins get bigger, we tell each other "Remember when ... ", and knowing that there are many other first-time lessons ahead, we pray for wisdom, guidance, and the ability to be there when you are needed. Just want to assure you that many first-time lessons come as surprises. They did for us, and they will for you! The secret is like this time - do the best you can and be surprised when it all comes together. PRAYing! ... 🙏 🙏 🙏

What a surprise! It's a very pleasant surprise. The goatlets are just adorable. The little brown one has a really sweet face & a white spot on the tip of his tail. So congrats on your first birthing experience. From what I've seen on other farm videos, Blue is a really great mom. What sheep farmers do during breeding season is the bought a snow sled and pull it with a rope they put baby sheep in it and mama follows her baby's to separate them out from other sheep and the herd. Just a suggestion from a gal that raises 140 plus sheep.

How Beautiful is blue,what a great addition to the farm,watch out I’ve witnessed eagles grabbing the baby seeing the top of your cage is not covered the owls might also ,be extra careful! How sweet!
