It's a shift indicator which suggests upshifts/downshifts for max efficiency

For the first 5-600 km, it returns very low mileage. But it'll improve. You can expect around 40 in the city

that speed of 75 to 85 is so accurate! shuru me lga bike k sath to issue nhi but 90 cross krte hi bike ekdm smooth. i'm getting a mileage of 43-44 in highway. month me 3-4 ride hoti hai from work to home which is 140 km oneway. btw nice vlog!

Thanks! The Fz25 is an amazing machine. Very torquey, redefined and reliable. If only Yamaha would have given it more features, it would have been a better pick over the apache. For now, the apache is far ahead

hey if u r riding below 80-85 dont use sport mode red light always blinking i feel u may get more mileage if u riding 85-90 in urban or rain mode instead of same speed at sports mode.

The red light is present only to suggest you to upshift/ downshift and I feel the calibration has been done too aggressively.
