Love it. Some of my friends like visiting show homes but caravans are far more fun and even better when I can sit with a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie while watching someone doing it for me! Thanks Dan! 😀 x

I like how the side dinette isn’t over the wheel arch as in other vans. Plenty of leg space under the table.

So nice to have a new van with no fixed bed.

Hi Dan, that has gave us some ideas for our next caravan as we have go it on a 5 year lease but we own the Bailey Pegasus Rimini so hopefully they have a similar model and if they do could you review it so we can have an idea for our next caravan, Bailey have done a good job on the caravans. We had the Cadiz and found the side lockers were a pain, having to practically hook things out because you couldn't reach. Front lockers are much better. The gas locker was an enigma code in trying to relocate the door, the beds were too high as your feet dangled like a 12 year old and the rear bathroom that small you couldn't really do anything in it, least of all put things on the shelf it didn't have! They put a shelf in the next version but now you had to bend at the waist to look in the mirror. This seems better thought out or maybe the sacked the other designer! We got rid for a Lunar Saros which has me suspecting Bailey pinched the splash back idea from them? Good review and this model is much improved although the wrong layout for me.

Glad you mentioned the rear end, I think thats the real let down otherwise I really like the new Unicorn. Please Bailey sort the rear out... its the lights I think then that grab rail! Above those its fine. Cheers Dan, Martin

In any future reviews could you cover the provision of, position and number of 3 pin, 12v, tv and usb connections within the caravan.

Good review dan , it’s a pity bailey don’t have a soap dish in the toilet area and think it’s sensible to put a toothbrush holder in a cupboard (that’s really handy, not). Tv space on the Madrid looks good , but only 1 240v point , where does the sky box plug into? Only one satellite connection on all unicorns, anyone who uses a sky box needs 2 .

I don’t mind the coloured grab handles front and back , the back one is a brilliant idea and so so simple. What I have a bit of an issue with is the front A frame cover , just looks a bit tacky. The big problem I have is the mains connection point , why that sticks out like that is beyond me .

Think I would prefer the grab rail if it matched the colour of the van
