The part that makes me feel so sad for Buddy and Steph, they were so giving of their time and effort to help everyone else during the flooding. Now they go on vacation to try and unwind from it all, and this is what they get to come home to. A fallen tree that landed on the house and went through the roof! Sometimes God gives us more than we WANT to handle.❤

It was a true blessing that you had no minimal damage to your property. And I'm so happy that your new pond spillway worked beautifully. The sod is pretty and green. Goats will be happy with all those leaves. It looks like Jami's plants, gardens and greenhouse took the brunt of it from the wind. But things are replaceable, lives are not. I'm glad you've got Lex there to help you clean up while Jami is out of town. Prayers for her safe travels and also prayers for everyone that was impacted by the storm. Prayers also for those that lost loved ones during the storm travels. 🙏🙏🙏

So relieved everything is only a clean up, nothing structural, no big trees down, all the animals are safe, Brady was like “Is it safe to come out yet ? 😊 I bet Jami will be upset about all her garden planters and the greenhouse, at least Fred and Freda are still there, and it fills my heart that the pond is intact and worked perfectly ❤

Hi to Hello Lester. I had a tree fall in my house last June 2023. Had so much damage! My insurance put me in the Hampton Inn for 4 months before I was able to move back in. My prayers are with them as the recover their home back❤

Hi Lester - You know, the only thing that equals your caring heart, is your giving nature and your desire to help - if you feel there might be something, anything you can do, folks can count on you to be there. Pretty proud of Gigi and Pawpaw, because they raised and instilled truly such honorable qualities, into you and your brother and sisters. 💞 I’m heartbroken for Steph and Buddy and to know the stress and anxiety of it all, is effecting Stephanie so badly, was hard to hear. They are truly a wonderful couple and family and it’s really a blessing they got away before Beryl’s arrival, although Beryl ended some of their vacation time away early, whether they had been at home or away, the fate and destiny of Beryl collided over that tree and brought it down on their roof and I believe it would be that much more traumatic for both of them and the kids, had they not been away making lasting family memories, but instead asleep in their beds at home. Thanks for this update Lester, you may not have taken huge major damage at LHL’s, but it’s going to take some time and labor for you, to clean everything up after Beryl’s visit! Sending love 💗☺️

Im so glad it wasn’t any worse then it was… especially after just going through the flood. I can’t believe there was still flower pots upright. I would’ve been freaking out grabbing everything outside I could and bringing it into the shop lol. I couldn’t even begin to imagine what it’s like dealing with all this crazy weather and the high temps! While watching Bri’s video on FB from today I kept looking at the grass in her horse pasture and thinking it’s so crazy last year there was hardly any grass an now this year it’s so lush, green and long. Texas is from one extreme to the next lol I’m so relieved for you the pond at LHL held up great. I think the last guy was finally the right guy ❤❤❤

Rai blew sideways, so you probably got more than the gage says. So glad your pond was a success! Yeah, it was a hurricane with high winds. Jami knew it would blow down stuff she didn't protect, so I don't think HO insurance will cover those planters, chairs & such. New stuff on the way. Stephanie's roof should be covered, though, and that's more important.
