I've been a Minelab man for nearly 20 years but grew up on C-Scope detectors as a kid..this machine looks really good,can't wait to see it in the field..

Cant wait to walk around with the evo .. was already positive surprised at the first look at detectival last year.. Love the motion non motion option And the menu that works at the same time as you are searching... No big deal but tweaking settings and hitting a target at the same time wil give some optimal conditions... Wel will see .. Greets from Holland

So pleased that C-Scope has stepped up and got on the wagon with technology. Never doubted their capability and build quality they have always been bombproof and well we all know how C-Scope aftersales quality is second to none. My first 5 detectors were C-Scope and I still have my CS2M which found me my first and only gold hammered and my first hammered silver. I'm excited about this and I really hope they do well with it because the company deserves it.

I'm looking to get back into metal detecting. Did have my eye on a minelabs equinox but this look good. It sounds silly but a big draw for me is that it's British made.

I found your review on the C Scope very Imformative,i wish someone like you would do one on the Quest Pro,The only ones i can find are guys on a windy beach or field,and i havn't a clue what they are saying.Good Luck to C Scope on their new machine.

Looks nice. I have a minelab x terra 505 and you can change frequency by replacing the coil. I guess the evo is a single frequency detector. Just like my x terra.

My first two detectors were both C Scopes so I'll always have a soft spot for them. The build quality looks really good and it's British made which is always a big plus for me

Nice one C Scope. You make excellent analogue MD's. If this Digital baby matches the higher end , CS3MX---CS6MXI's types for performance, you ought to sell many. I hope that C Scope 'push on' and really go for it with more of the similar. Build and back-up have always been very good. For those 'Buy British' patriots, this may really please you. If it matches up with the new breed Triumph motorcycles for use-ability, reliability, handling and GRUNT, you will be in raptures!

Been using c scopes since the late 70's, they have always been a well made machine and I've had no issues at all. The 17khz is c scopes operating frequency and always has been if memory serves me correctly, the same as this machine, unless I then spend more money to buy a different coil to have access to 1 other frequency I'm gaining nothing over my 6 mxi. Whilst 17 khz is a brilliant frequency for arable land on pasture it's poor when hoping to find deeper targets. It looks sadly as though c scope have done what many feared produced a new detector which is nothing more than a 6 mxi with a digital screen. I will watch the test bed tests with interest.

Its different technology sir, 17.5 khz, waterproof, wireless and a fast charging system already makes it look a completely different proposition from your older model.

@@unearthed-detecting-tv I'll be interested in the field tests first, but the price tag will be all important just to justify wireless and fast charging, it only takes literally a minute to swap batteries, waterproof to 1 metre, even c scope themselves don't seem quite as confident in its " waterproof" ability. Information has been sketchy at best. So hopefully you will be able to rectify this. I shall look forward to your test bed, and even moreso proper field testing. True depth on pasture will be an important factor as this is where c scope machines have been traditionally lacking, it needs to be performing depth wise like the f75 for example, I currently use the equinox having changed from my f75, big mistake parting with the f75, but I digress. Look forward to your future test videos on this machine.

@@unearthed-detecting-tv I've had it two years now and I'm pleased with it, but I miss the depth of the f75 especially on pasture, no not Gary mate. Always loved the way c scope perform on arable, I've always said I think they are one if the best, it's pasture they are or were very poor on. I'm going to digress slightly but I can't understand why teknetics/ fisher haven't released an new machine ??

@@marklightfoot9113 yes I agree, they need to come to the table fast, what settings are you using on the nox? As you may know I was an avid f75 user for 8 years but my nox is much deeper on pasture than it, especially on deep hammered

Unearthed UK yes I agree...I like the nox but the build quality out of the box is very poor...and something in my opinion they address when they put the Vanquish out, i.e., better shaft, arm rest with a little flex in it, thicker coil lugs and a better angled hand grip. I have to say the initial look at the build quality of the EVO looks very good.

I don’t think it’s a machine for me the text on the screen is far too small and the screen itself is much smaller than I expected, I don’t wanna take my reading glasses on the field, apart from that it looks ok, it’s a pity coz I’m in for a new machine and was waiting for this. 😢😢
