Yeah. They are great for that intimate sound. It does take some time to make it work in note cinematic layouts because of the very very very very and I mean very dry sound. I find that Virtual Sound Stage 2 helps a lot in placing instruments from Sample Modeling. In terms of resources, they use very less RAM as you might know, but are a little bit heavy on the CPU. They are very playable. How do u use them? I use them to layer over other samples, especially when I'm writing mrkr old school brass. I use only the brass libraries like The Trumpets, French Horn and Tuba and The Trombones. Sounds great when you layer it on other samples.. Gives that bite to the instruments, for that John Williams, John Powell feel. On the other hand they don't do really well for something like a Hans Zimmer Brass sound, so you should be aware.

It does have some convolution, but Blackhole makes all the difference mate...

@@wardy2783 I usually just slap it on and use the default settings changing the mix. The blackhole preset is nice. Sometimes it's too much and I just tone down the mix Knob. Usually use it as an insert and not a send 😁
