Good stuff. No reason to upgrade my Rane 12’s and Rane 72. If I want to use DVS on Traktor, Rekordbox or Virtual DJ, I take off the Rane disc and put on a vinyl and use Phase. Nice upgrade though.

many didnt get the Rane twelve when it came out.I was hoping for something like this when Numark released the v7s which i really liked but wanted something larger jog wise .When i saw these i knew that the more forward looking tablists would want them and when there were improvements that if they got it right they would really take off .These things are going to fly off the shelves the improved flexibility with the DVS and maybe muliti platform usage is certainly the way forward.These are fantastic updates to the players .Well done Rane.

This is definitely for new upcoming DJs. I'm glad this is out. I won't buy it. I'm good with what I have. But if I was a new DJ, I would probably jump on these...

The DVS mode is huge for people who use the DJM S9 etc. Big ups Rane!

I completely agree with you Mojaxx! At the beginning, I had the same thought you had, but I still wanted to buy a rane twelve and test it out. I bought it and started to use it every day and bring it to clubs. I had great results that actually some clubs started to buy it although it was just a controller for Serato. Now with this new rane twelve mk2 upgrade I think that it can really make the difference! I am curious to see what pioneer will do for scratch djs, especially about releasing a new mixer.

Ok I was hesitant to get the original 12’s when they released them, I wasn’t on board with all of the USB’s needed and using a USB HUB but now since they added the RCA’s I think I I’m gonna pick these up. Great job RANE!

I am glad that more people get to use it through dvs mode, but as a Twelve user in VirtualDJ I don't see any benefit in the mark2? The first one already does relative mode.

Great news for us traktor users... looking forward to a full traktor compatability review maybe even with the Z2 as the mixer.

At last! Traktor support, even just for the DVS mode, is all I need. I am not a big Serato fan, and so the MK1 Twelves were just not for me. These though

Having a problem with one of my Rane 12 when it’s connected to my Rane 72. When it’s not connected to the Rane 72 the platter will spin, does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Since Rane put RCA connectors underneath and you can use DVS, I know it goes in REL Mode, can it go in ABS Mode to???

Is there a way to Lock your Effects on the 72/72 MKII while doing a party. So your parameters, bars, etc of each effect are not accidentally changed. I now you can Save your Effects, turn off the mixer & back on again then your Effects will be restored the way you Saved them but can you just Lock your Effects from being changed?

I purchased 2 denon sc6000 and x1850. I am so disappointed The pads aren’t responding like the ones on my old pioneer ddj sz. Uploading songs takes to long. I’m so close to dumping this set up on the garbage as I can’t use it. To me is all about time Even the bottoms feel cheep the tension knob feels like is going to come off and jug wheels always have that tight feel. Not smooth at all and it won’t dona back spin.

Rane12 is the only Rane product that I’ll get and stay with my s9 Rane mixers have to many problems !!! I know two djs that bought the 72 and both mixers have different problems

It's the same thing no difference other than the RCA connection which is better than just USB. Why don't they come out with a Rane 10 with a 7" touchscreen a 10" platter no Serato let the DJ choose if he wants to use music software a USB port for flash drive. Give us something completely new and completely different. Not everyone is a scratch DJ. U put a tiny little screen big whoop. Give us a new Rane with a nice screen not a big screen like the SC6000 to big a 7" would be perfect. A Rane10 for NAMM 2021
