Just got em today..... Incredible sound for the money.

My Power HBQs broke today. I had just arranged to exchange them for a new pair when I saw this video. Cancelled the exchange for a return and ordered these. Thanks they seem great and a fraction of the cost of Power Beats Pro.

Got these and they are fucking amazing, it takes only like 1 day to get used to putting them in, and they stay in really well when exercising. And the audio is also really good. But they also get quite loud which is good.

Can I use em without the case? I like to run with as little as possible

Nirvana is a kick ass band! Also awesome video. I would think these would be much better then the power beats pro. So I have tried a few earbuds but the problem is Bluetooth just doesn't seem to work once you take it into the pool. Bummer because music would really help the swim work out .

Call quality was a dealbreaker for me and I am quite happy with them. I just tried the Sound Liberty 79 and had to return them. Also, the passthrough was perfect for when my customers want to talk to me.

Can I make a suggestion? When you do the call quality test and then turn on the background simulated noise, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference audible in any of your buds tests. Maybe it could be more realistic?

Got these, they're great, and when you're using them for working out and I also use them when going to and from school the battery life is amazing, I've had them for a two and a half months and I've only had to charge them once

Hi @gamesky - great review, as usual! Have you tried the TrueWings Passthrough mode more recently and found it better than your initial impression? In my tests, their passthrough imode s significant. Very useful for sport/running and way better than say, the Boltune BT-BH023's ANC, as a feature. I'd liken TrueWing passthru to the Galaxy Buds+ Ambient mode on almost the max setting.

Just received these today. While they worked, before the left ear bud just stopped working, the sound was ok. Not bad but not that loud. These say 13.6mm drivers. It could have said 30mm drivers, who cares if its not loud enough. I made sure I had the right ear tips in too (in case you wondered that). IMO just get some refurbished Powerbeats pro if this is the style your looking for and money is around $100. Save your money, do not get these! Thanks

Wat kind of smart watch are you wearing?

People can hate on Beats but as someone who never used any of their stuff before but heard constant bad rep for the products, I was surprised by the Powerbeats Pro. They are some of the best workout buds IMO, with button controls on both buds, 9 hour battery life (with each bud), sound is dynamic and gets really loud to help get through more reps when working out, can use just one bud, sweat-resistant, don't fall out, good audio quality for phone calls, that W1 chip (I think it's called?) that helps connecting to apple products QUICK, and surprisingly comfortable. (They at first hurt so fast but they are meant to rest at the ear canal and not directly pushed in) and again, I never had any beats products but they actually surprised me alot with how good they are. The only big downsides are the huge case and no app for an EQ. But as always, hell yea.

Are they louder than the truengine? I had to give those away they were so quiet

I can’t charge the earbuds inside the charging case. The earbuds always connecting to my phone even they’re inside the case. Closing the case cant charge the earbuds, i can only charge them while the case is open. Pls help.

Got these a while ago and have actually gotten 3 replacements since then. So i kind of want to add my two cents. I was looking specifically for earbuds with ear hooks for the gym and there really weren't many options under 50$. When I found these, I was ecstatic, thought it was a steal of a deal. And they really are...when they work. These are incredible earbuds for the price. (I got them for around 40$ after tax) You get bluetooth 5.0, you get usb-c charging case, you get ipx7, and you get touch control! The sound quality is not great, but not bad at all either, they'll do just fine if you aren't an audiophile. IMO the bass was very lacking actually. Nonetheless, if you are on a budget, looking for an alternative to the powerbeats, it looks like this is it. Now, the bad.... Touch control is super sensitive. It is triggered when I wipe a towel across my head or just leave a towel over my head. Sometimes, even if I have my hoodie on. If you sweat a lot and the sweat runs down the touch control, that triggers it too. For whatever reason, I was still willing to put up with these issues because some of it I felt I could work around. But. The reason I had to get 3 replacements was because the earbuds (or the case) stopped charging. Same issue with every pair I tried. Two times it was just the right earbud that stopped charging. And none of them lasted over a month. I really did like the earbuds. Unfortunately, they just weren't reliable in my experience.

I have no idea why but it does not charge at all and instead connects to my laptop even though they are connected to the case and not outside of the case.

People who disliked are the ones who spent 250$

Interesting. I find that my Galaxy Buds aren't very secure when exercising (even with the largest eartips and earwings). Will consider pick these up for exercising/going to gym and using my Buds for commuting and everything else. 🙂
