I was working hard on Automatic.css' integration with GeneratePress when Mark Westguard pinged me with a link.
"Whoa."
Sometimes I get a heads up that a big new feature is coming, but this time he just hit me with it out of the blue.
It's an integration with OpenAI that allows you to tell WSForm what kind of form you need - and it just builds it for you.
Let's look at this new AI integration together, shall we?

well, i guess that is somewhat neat, but even if i had the required plan, I doubt i would ever use that. I can't see it saving that much more time than dragging a few fields and inputting the labels manually. Because you still have to go back and add descriptions and fix things that arent quite right. And it requires people to be able to actually describe what they want properly. Now a video on this plugin that shows integration with metabox custom post types stored in custom tables, and also populating fields based on defined tables, that is what i would really be interested in. I believe the plugin can do it, but im holding off for now as im tired of buying plugins that i can't figure out how to modify for my needs.

I bet you would though. Once you get comfortable with it. It’s easier to write. Dragging inputs around is boring and tedious. And the AI does more than what I showed here.

@Gearyco maybe one day I'll try it, right now out of my price range. Currently I need to figure out how to filter all my custom post types and plugins with a basic "where 'topic'==$topic ) just need a foreign key or pivot table and I'd be able to establish bout 90% of my project goals, but that one statement is also quickly becoming a major road block. Cpts, not so bad with meta box, but other plugins. Is there a way to write a code that would support this condition regardless of plugin that you know of?

The new functions interface in Open AI (gpt-4-0613) should give us even better results, allowing to map a request to a more deterministic signature of fields. Would need another interface, though. Exciting times…

Last ai dev generator I saw was Framer and it was dog shit. This was much better.

WS Form is killer. I actually just finished recording a video using it to pull in data from my Google sheet for a complex product configurator. Like you said, it’s a great plugin with lots of great features, but their support is also best in the industry.

Kevin, this is great. Can we do the same with frames in the future? Add a menu, logo left with the menu items ‘home, about us, blog, contact ‘ and use var(-primary) for the colors and and and and and ….. ? I think you are thinking about that 😊

How many forms do you think I’ve built? You’re not getting all those fields in faster than the AI. Just writing the labels for them would take longer. Also, this is v1. What about when it doesn’t make mistakes anymore?
