I just watched your video on giving a detailed breakdown about the bow spec's, yeah the physical details are what they are, but watching you go through the shooting of the given arrow, between what the factory details are and as compared to what you are showing, I love your attitude towards how your explaining THE DETAILS, the science of archery really isn't that hard to figure out once you learn the function of the compound bow, everyone has a different body frame and their gonna get different numbers, everyone just to understand one very important thing, they have to learn how to drive, but we still know there are people who can't drive a straight line,

I really value your reviews. I think it would be very valuable since you find deviations with specs to also check the draw length on a draw board since that plays a role while chronoing them. Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

Another right to the point review 👍🏽 but I’m really hoping something is off with the chronograph because every bow is so slow. It’s almost like the company’s have a bet to see how much they can fudge the numbers before customers put their foot down.

You put out a lot of very good information and its strait up and no BS. I shoot the Revolt and Bowtech is my choice for what i will shoot I had been out of archery since the 1990 the last bow that I had shot was a Martin Onza spelling is not correct im sure I went into the Pro Shop with my son and down the rabbit hole i went in 2020 with the Revolt I shot the Mathews VXR and the Hoyt RX 4 and out of the 3 the Revolt was the one that felt the best for myself. I do not think that a person can go wrong with any on of the 3 that I shot ever one of them are of top quality but they need to shoot them and find out for them self which is the one that works for them you put out top quality info keep that pushing forward.

Hey MFJJ, really love the videos!!! I am new to bow hunting and archery in general. I recently purchased a budget-friendly Mission (by Matthews) Switch Bow. I understand this is very much a budget bow compared to many of the higher end bows you feature in your videos. Because of this, I was curious if you would consider making a video that reviews these budget bows, but that also compares the feature and refinement differences between a flagship and a budget bow. To a newbie like me, I really don't know what advantages a bow that is 2, 3 or 4 times the cost of a budget bow provides (though I am sure they are superior in many ways, but just don't know). Thanks for considering this request, and please keep the great content coming.

Thanks. I bought a realm ss this year. I already own a speed bow. Ill buy a new one in 2023. I think I'll skip this year and just stick with the equipment I own. Thanks for keeping me informed, bastards woulda got me with false advertising and i woulda been pissed.

Cool vlog Josh. I was really surprise on those numbers I would of thought better but what can you do. The hump in the end of the draw cycle would drive me crazy so that would be a no no for me. Can you tell me will you be doing a review on the Hoyt Twin Turbo and regular RX7 when you get them in I would love to see those bows in action. Cool Josh have a great day!!!
@NightOfIDK2 жыл бұрын
Love your reviews. Could you add a section where you draw the bow with a scale to see if its 70lbs or over/under. Some bows comes off specs which may result in variation of performance. Seeing this bow ATA longer than spec might need some cable twisting
@olehemlock2 жыл бұрын
Some of these SR350’s are coming in 2 to 3lbs under. My 60lb Realm X was 57lbs maxed out. They appear to be slow when compared to bows that are 5lbs over peak weight and half inch long on draw.
@josephfolsom20302 жыл бұрын
Great, honest review
@dougmrak7842 жыл бұрын
good and honest and if smooth that is enough speed as hunting i am out of date a bit i always used 5 inch fletching.. as crushed years ago getting back in the game . last new bow was a mathews feather max that was the bow in 1999 . back then it was hoyt or mathews .. them bowtech are looking good
@ronconte42922 жыл бұрын
I'd like to hear more about how different bows compare on ease of adjustability. By the way, Bowtech is supposedly reworking the mod on their SR350 to get more fps out of the bow (per Mike's Archery 7' 46" minute/second mark).

@brpnw4r942 жыл бұрын
Love ya, MFJJ. BT has a way to morph other models into new ones with a change or two. Only thing I like about the 350 is the 33" ATA....but in the end doesn't warrant flipping my Reckoning 35 @70. Come on BT...we're waiting for that game changer.
@PoeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
If you have a long DL, check out the Revolt XL. I shot it at 72# and 31.5" DL and it is by far the smoothest draw cycle I have felt in 36 years of bowhunting. Zero dump into the valley and consistent all the way through the cycle. Nice to have a 33" ATA with some room on the back end of the draw length for a change!
@brpnw4r942 жыл бұрын
@@PoeOutdoors...I hear ya. My Reckoning shoots dimes. With that being said I'll keep her until the brakes fall off. 😉

Would be interesting if you did a test with all the bows at the high end of the IBO draw weight tolerance (+-2lbs) to see how close the bows are then to their rating. See how much closer to "honest" they are at that rating.

Love the bow reviews, any plans to compare the Hoyt twin turbo?
@michaelmangino98192 жыл бұрын
This bow is much more Solution looking then the Sr6. I have both. What I didn't like about this Sr350 was the Draw is very stiff on performance. And it's smoother but still not as smooth as the Solution. They all 3 share the same exact Riser. Only diff from Solution to SR350 was 33in vs 32in and the SR350 has less parralel limbs.. That's where the 33in. ATA comes in... Each limb is .5inch longer on each side the limbs. Nice now but Solution is by far the better bow.. I'm getting the Twin Turbo on tues, and that Sucker is super Smooth. I can't wait to get it..

Great, concise review. How would you say this (#70 in performance setting) compares to a semi-backed out Revoltx80 (#75), comfort setting...in terms of better draw and guestimate velocity?

Do a review on longer axle to axle bows. Im from Mississippi with a personal preference on the 32"-34" bows. Im personally 30" draw length so i know that varies from individual. Lets get some more 3rd party reviews please because im on the fence on these configurations betweeen brands

Nice review. It's hard to tell when you are shooting through the chronograph if the arrow has cleared the riser before breaking the first sensor on the chronograph. If it's not the arrow is still accelerating and the chronograph readings will always be lower. I would be interested to know if the arrow is clear of the riser for your tests.

My 2016 Pse Dream season Decree is just as fast and it’s lighter than the newer equipment, although I will admit that the Bowtech Guardian the newer one is a real sweet shooter and at 65 pounds of draw weight it felt like 55 pounds to me

How often are chronographs calibrated? I have zero experience with them or in paying much attention to actual speed vs spec, but I do have experience in manufacturing quality. And consistently seeing numbers reading 3-5% low of what I'd expect would have me double checking my gauges.

@aaronhall7652 жыл бұрын
If all manufacturers are 10-15 slow... Have you tried changing lighting or chrono's? These reviews on all bows. You measure ATA and BH. Do you check pounds to see if light or heavy? Out of the box test? Do you check cam synchronization? Tune bow before test? Wouldn't that increase speeds? Thanks for your reviews.

what arrows are you using that are stiff enough to handle 30" and 70#, and are still light enough to be 350 grains with a lighted nock? If you are using an underspined arrow are you losing velocity to extra flex?
