I love your multiple wash mitt method, I've mentioned it before, but it's saved me so much time and water.

I'm 69 yrs. old, and just learning how to properly wash a car, since March. The ceramic coating process blows my mind in a good way. Maintenance washings were non-existent before ceramic coatings and waxes.

I like CarPro reset is my one of my favorite car shampoo!!!!

Purple Power vehicle and boat wash is my go to shampoo for aggressive cleaning. Poorboys shampoo is my maintenance shampoo. All thanks to u Brian and Scott for hellping me understand what shampoos to use.😊😀

So, I pre rinse and foam as you do. I let it sit thick and dwell and breakdown the dirt n grit. I rinse again. I may do this 2 times if need be. Then I pull it into the garage and do a rinseless + waterless wash at the same time. Let me tell you, as I wash I check my towels and they are always clean. I’m really picky about this process and have refined this to the least amount of marring. Give this a try if u get some time.

Something interesting I want to bring up. I mostly do only rinseless washing. BUT, I use AW Cleanliness as a presoak and rinse before doing a contact wash using rinseless. Works very well

Man, im not a detailer but i like watching your videos. Im going to be doing some paint correction on my "black" car myself for the first time after 5 years of bad washing habits. I have learned a lot from your videos but wish me luck!

Superb video and tips Brian. Overkill is an understatement, triple overkill. Rinse, foam and rise for pre wash, foam again, bucket multi mitt use, rinse, air dry. How long does the air drying take you with a leaf blower? I use a 160 mph leaf blower, an average size SUV takes near 25 30 mins to near complete no dripping including the wheels, barely use towel on flat surfaces. This has to be an $80 to $130 car wash with top of the line soap and complete wheel cleaning? For my vehicles weekly wash now I'm using cheap four cent an ounce blue corral, takes 2/3 of the foam lance ( 4 ounces) to foam a mid large size vehicle, good lubrication on contact, crappy drippy foam 😁. With 15-18 cent an ounce soaps use 2.5-3 ounces and use half of the foam lance bottle, still save 12-16 cents a wash, ha ha ha.

Agree, the only way to keep swirls and scratches off is to avoind contact. Often for maintance washes i try to pre soak and rinse and done but with bugs in the spring and summer in Pennsylvania that seems to be impossible. Also I will never use waterless wash that is the stupidest thing for detailed vehicles

I wash mine in the sun using the CR spotless 2 buckets leaf blower and usually end up with no water spots or swirls. But will still go over it with a quick detailer after Incase anything is left behind. I only use Meguiar’s products from Walmart.

Congratulations on passing the 10k subscribers! I'm glad your channel is steadily growing you are the only detailing channel I look at now, great info and straight to the point. A few months ago I Commented on another guys channel (red gtr as a hint) saying he should look into the angelwax range and got a comment back saying he dont know them but I can send him in some of the products to his po box for review. 30 seconds later he said he never asks his supscribers for product or donations to his PayPal 🤣😂🤣

I love reset but it’s a bit expensive and so I use it sparingly. Mainly using CG honeydew snow foam. Maintaining my coated vehicle is so much easier than the waxed/sealed cars!

I came out of the house July 5th to find fire works debris, ashes, on my truck. The neighbors shot off some fire works and the spent ash floated down to land on my truck , yard, driveway, etc. Lots to opportunities for stuff to get on a finished car or truck. By the way, it doesn’t appear any of the ash was hot when it hit the paint. Dodged a bullet there.

Hmm never thought to use cleaniness as a shampooer. I usually mix it 1:1 with fast foam as a pre wash foam.

I think that a Coating should be replenished every year. Not redone but revive. Per exemple using ESSENCE PLUS from CARPRO. THIS WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST PROTECTION AND PREVENT DEGRADATION OF YOUR COATING.

Thanks...i believe in your step by step procedure. You mentioned mixing purple power and angel wax soap "together" to remove old wax and traffic dirt before applying new polish or wax? Would you please provide more info...? Like your methods, thanks again.

My dear sir, i am a bit confused with some soaps from different manufactures. I know that the traffic film such as waxes and sealants are oil petroleum based, we know that in general traffic film -remover soaps also removes waxes and sealants. I dont understand how soap such this angelwax, or valet pro advanced e.t.c can claim that remove traffic film and grime but are safe for wax or sealant.. Kind reegards

Your videos are awesome and I know you gave a nod to rinse less wash guys but I have to tell you you need to at least try it. I had a black 2015 Maserati GranTurismo that pros spent 30 hours on the car at significant expense and she had Cquartz pro on her. I’m a 777 pilot ex military and about as anal as the come. I live in a very caustic environment in my area with hard water, wind, and you name it outside and it got to where I simply could not stand to wash my car with the full 2 bucket method procedure. Once I went ONR with 1 bucket, distilled water, big red sponge, 500 GSM towels in the comfort of my own garage I never went back. The car only got BETTER over the two years of ownership. Zero scratches, swirls, or micro marring and trust me I was always looking under my garage LED lights and swirl finder. Test it out. It will save your sanity on your personal cars and allow you to enjoy your car MUCH more.

If you use a high quality APC, diluted correctly like Greenstar or MultiX can you safely APC rinse a ceramic coated car? Or is it a bad idea no matter what

Some people swear by rinseless/waterless washing. I tired it once and got some pretty bad scratches in my car. I'll never do it again.

This was a first maintenance wash after a coating (package). You described the maintenance wash as part of the package. Is it typical for the client to then only have the car washed by the professional detailer at particular intervals or is the client expected to also perform some washes as needed using a safe method recommended by you in between any maintenance washes included in the package? By the way, I love the multiple mitt shampoo method !

I use Adams polishes shampoo, find it cheap on amazon and cleans well. No spot whatsoever, later i will try carpro reset soap

You ring out a dirty sponge over the car you are washing, you dont use grit guards in your buckets, and you constantly use circle motions while washing. I dont know how this video can be anything but the complete wrong way, and your teaching it.

I''ve got a better wash method for you... (you be the judge) one hand washmit, the other hand a foam GUN aiming at the washmit leading edge... I use a chemical guys foam GUN but I believe thoose 20 buck non heavy foam GUNs will make it perfectly. give it a try... it gives a feeling of enhancing the shampoo's lub and gloss properties and even saving product... an enhanced suds & lub pleasure*
