One year of ownership for the 2022 Hyundai ELANTRA N. Very proud with the overall performance and reliability of this car. However, I do wish they provided a spare. My first major issue being I got a flat tire and the tire was too worn to get repaired this video shows a general process of what you might have to go through if you get a flat tire on your Hyundai ELANTRA N

I have a base 2023 elantra sel with 43k miles on it now. Had it for over a year and a half. No issues whatsoever.

@@asphalt_boxer 28 is still a lot in one year. Glad it’s holding up! It’s crazy I have a 2022 wrx now almost 2 years old and it only has 11k but I work remote. Crazy what that daily commute adds up to!

I work at Hyundai as a tech now I started to appreciate Hyundai vehicles a lot more now. Faily cheap yet comfortable and decently reliable. Only recalls new Hyundais seem to have are just software based. Drove a Kona N recently, definitely is a fun car.

my hyundai engine went bad at 103k so i spent 11k putting a brand new one in and it went bad only 17k miles later. transmission grinds, has oil issues. hyundai sucks

There’s class action lawsuits against Hyundai because so many of their engines are failing. Obviously not every Hyundais in existence are problematic , but they certainly got their fair share of problems.

@@PROGAMERCRUZ yes, every company got recalls. Here I’m talking about lawsuits, not the same. As far as I’m concerned, not too many manufacturers are under class action lawsuits. They had so many issues with them, that Hyundai was obligated to provide a lifetime warranty on engines because yes, on certain models, the engine can blow up more than once due to certain defects during assembly. The information is proven, out there, and anyone with -1 of car knowledge knows about this. I own Hyundai and Kia myself, I actually got lucky but I’m in several owner groups and thousands of owner have problems. I’m not in denial enough to say every Hyundai is reliable because mine was good.

My family has owned multiple Hyundai/Kia cars for the last 10 years and driven all of them over 100k miles. We had only 1 minor problem out of 4 cars. So when I hear people bsshing Hyundai/Kia quality, I just don't understand what they are talking about. I don't think any of those haters have owned Hyundai/Kia before.

I have an elantra N line 2023, I have New transmission , New Horn at 25k miles , I have water inside my Headlights , new Suspension , The wireless charger is Dead doesn’t work at all, And My dash is Telling every fucking 30 minutes( ENGINE OVERHEATED , I do my oil change every 5k miles and Everything on time

Well being in the automotive industry for 34 years..Hyundai and Kia were still making backhoes ...when Toyota and Honda were building cars....they were late to this party and they decided to throw these cars together....regardless if they knew what they were doing or not....is a 30 something thousand dollars car...you get what you pay for....and all the motor issues security issues...and insurance companies want to charge you an arm and a leg for insurance....nope no thanks.

28K miles here, I’ve replaced 2 tires so far due to bubbles. Replaced under tire warranty, so I didn’t have to come out of pocket. Other than that, no issues.

That’s actually pretty good lmao, I had a Volkswagen gti , I bought it at 22k in January of 2019 and in December I was at 70k 😂😂 I was literally going on fun runs everyday for no reason at all, 1 hr+ drives of hammering it for no reason . It was also fully modified

I have now gone through 2 sets of ps4s at 29k miles. Chords were showing on inner side wall of tires both times both times got realigned and still went bad. Changed the first ones at 22k and just had them changed at 29...... no track days very very occasional hard driving.

Thanks for commenting and this is why I posted this video. Most Performance tires like the PS4’s are not meant for road driving even though they give the car a sporty feel. Since I put the continentals on the car, I’ve had no issues no uneven, wearing and overall better performance while driving both spiritedly and regularly!

@@asphalt_boxerI believe it should as there is 5 yr warranty for non power train issues and 10yr for power train it’s the same warranty as Hyundai for Kia

Yeah for all items since im the second owner im covered for 6yrs and 60k miles. If I was the first owner it would have been 10yrs 100k. Hyundai and Kia do pretty good warranty work!

@@asphalt_boxer yes it took some convincing because they couldn’t find the noise. Once they put a stethoscope on the strut, they did it as a warranty fix.

My mom has a 2013 elantra gt hatch with well over 100k miles and she hardly even changes the oil in it and that thing still runs … hyundai i so underrated, they are better than this hondas and toyotas that are coming out lately

As expected Hyundai owners usually ain’t willing to dish out the money for pilot 4s tires. There goes any semblance of a fast car. Just down graded the fuck out of the most important performance option, performance tires.
