First mow of the Bentgrass golf green

I'm in the worst possible climate for a Bentgrass green, so let's try one out.
I planted this putting ring September 11th. it has four different types of bentgrass. T-1, V8, L-93, and Armor. All were given to my by #BarenbrugUSA , thank you!
My reel mower is a TORO Greensmaster 1000, but I also have two Mclane mowers and they all compliment each other.

I intended on selling the older one, but made the mistake of getting used to using both at the same time. Game changer, a good workout too!

I'm glad you love the greens mower!! I just spoke with a guy up north of me that bought out a golf course a while back and has a lot of golf course maintenance stuff for sale. I will keep you posted.

Dude, I know it's been a couple of years since you published this video, but I've been on the fence about switching from my Allett to a different mower. I know greens mowers are the "standard," but I have to ask: was the cut quality seriously that much better compared to the homeowner model you were using before? I'm seriously curious. I'm so close to pulling the triggers on a GM1000 for my Bermuda.

The higher the cut, the less noticeable difference in Toro vs Mcclane. I've been perfectly fine with 1/3" cut on either, Toro would be 10/10 cut, mcclane would be 9.5/10 cut. Biggest difference, and they are huge; 1-The toro cuts much faster 2- cuts through dense grass easier 3- holds more clippings.
