Awe that drone shot is so good, also shows its hot and dry for you, three blobs of green turf, then everything else is brown. irrigation is working nicely

Once fully established that TifTuff will require very little irrigation. Based on my experience with it, I only irrigate if it hasn't rained for three or four weeks in a row, even in summer weather with 90 degree plus temps and my mowing height is at 1/2". Incredibly tough turf.

Hey mate what seed would you recommend in new zealand we have dry summers in our area but I would still like a nice low mow lawn that survives the heat/ less water?

That Tiff tuff isn't it like Bermuda grass. If I want my Bermuda to really green up and get after it I put 34-0 and lots of water it will green up and haft mow every three days here in Oklahoma.
