Third season of the Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the Early Muslim Expansion starts with the aftermath of the battles against the Sassanid and Eastern Roman empires at Yarmouk and al-Qadisiyyah ( • Early Muslim Expansion... ) and battles of Ctesiphon, Alexandria, Nikiou, Jerusalem, Sufetula, Heliopolis, and Nahavand ( • Early Muslim Expansion... ). We are going to cover the aftermath of the beginning of the First Fitna (Civil War) in the Rashidun Caliphate ( • First Muslim Civil War... ) and the battle of Siffin of 657, which led to the rise of the Umayyad Caliphate ( • Battle of Siffin 657 -... ), external expansion continued with the siege of Constantinople in 674-678, but this didn't stop the Second Fitna from happening, leading to the battles of Karbala (680) and Marj Rahit (684) ( • Constantinople 674-678... ). We also previously talked about the conclusion of the Second Fitna and the rise and fall of the Zubayrid Caliphate ( • Second Civil War in th... ). In another episode the armies of the Caliphate return to the frontiers, clashing with the crumbling Byzantine Empire in Armenia and North Africa. In the latter, they would not find opposition not just in the Roman remnant, as the rise of a new warrior queen among the Berbers posed a serious challenge to Hassan ibn al-Nu’man’s conquering army in the Maghreb. And even as the Umayyads won victories on the battlefield and expanded ever further, the cohesion and unity of their empire continued to deteriorate on their Eastern frontiers, planting the seeds of their eventual collapse. And we will also discuss how Carthage was razed once again ( • Carthage Razed Again -... ). This new episode will focus on the first Muslim incursion into India, as we discuss the Sindh campaign that allowed the Arabs to gain a foothold in the subcontinent.

Its usually people pick sides based on ideology, Religion, etc. and build their beliefs further - nothing much wrong because this help prevent brainwashing, but thats how things are As for if there was or not a genocide - India/ Hinduism is the sole remaining major polytheistic Religion/ Civilization - says the violence it survived. The rulers - from their loot of Somnath Temple to Jahangir killing the Sikh Guru and Aurangzeb documenting his details of the violence against kafirs/non believers (Hindus), from Timur to the permanent destruction/razing of Hampi, says it all !! when the tyrants themselves recorded what they did in the name of Religion, when this channel itself mentions how the fellow got his life saved by "conversion to Islam" - then why the denialism??

Moreover, a few number of Muslims conquered and ruled over india for 1000 years. indians are extremely weak against foreigners

@ᗩTTᖇI ДΓΓЯI I have read about him. He helped expand Sindh into Balochi territory and Siraiki (Baloch-Punjabi) lands. He made Sindh a power house which showed power of Sindhis people. Later on Sindh was also somewhat of a power state under Talpurs.

@@akiogood4712 Yes the Delhi Sultanate began in 1206 and lasted till 1526. It was followed by Mughal Empire from 1526 to 1757. But I am talking about 8th Century not 15th. 738 was the first official invasion into India which was repelled by an Alliance of Indian Kings.

The Hindu Emperor of Sindh Dahir fought valiantly like a mammoth himself but it was his men who drifted in the middle of the war and his elephant which got wounded caused his fall. He almost won the war yet lost it eventually. Dahir to this day is remembered as the last Hindu King of Sindh.

Joke, he co nquered India in his dreams, he could only take Sindh, and Sindh was taken back by Indians in just 10 yrs, Rest of the Arab Invasions were royally de feated by Indians. That is why Arabs could not conq uer rest of India, Is lamic hallucinations and islamic supremacy has made you not accept real history. Sindh was never won in a fair fight, Arabs used slimy de ceit, lying and che ating to win against Indians because they knew Indians can't be de feated in a fair fight. So he was med iocre fight. Well, the Arabs did not achieve anything in India. They tried to invade India but the Arabs were defeated by the south Indian Chalukya Dynasty and the north Indian Pratihara Dynasty. This stopped the Arab expansion in the east

But I have read history books written about that time period and those attacks were mostly raids for booty and plunder and Muslims won those and took many plunders from Ujjain,Malabar, saurashtra(gujrat) and enslaved many inhabitants and returned. And yes they were border skirmishes. Main focus of Ummayad Caliphate was on invading Azerbaijan which was Christian, Armenian Kingdom, Eastern Roman Empire(Byzantines) who were also Christians and ofcourse Al Andalus (Spain). They were also occupied in naval war and also on land with Christians in Italy especially Sicily Island. This was because many skilled craftsmen lived in Christian kingdoms and conquering Christian kingdoms offered Greater revenue and money in long run than campaigning against Indian kingdoms which would give strain into their finances without any monetary profit in subjecting.

That’s gonna be a while I think because they’re doing the conquest of Spain and then after that the siege of Constantinople and then right after that they have to probably go all the way to covering the Abbasid revolution properly with his battle such as the river Zab in order to get to the battle of Tyler‘s which I’m sure they will do I can’t wait I love the Abbasid Revolution video but I want to see everything in full detail not to mention the famous battle of tours with Charles the hammer Martel the seventh century had never mind the eighth century had so many incredible battles let’s all enjoy them

@@ashapuhin9825 Every warrior has to have strong faith and strong will to fight.. fighting is spiritual before it comes physicall you must have a strong heart and mind to defeat your enemy.. the Arabs just realized they they just can't relay on tribal warriors all the time they have to have a professional standing army that is ready to fight at all times.. the tribal element is still present and largely successful throughout all Islamic armies

There are more or less depending on who you ask, a shia would count the fatamids and maybe would not recognize the umayyads as a caliphate for killing the prophet (SAW)'s grandson.

Actually Musliims did a favor to hiinduus in SOUTH ASIA when they arrived. .. It was only way for Muslims to make hinnduus civilised. otherwise hiinduus in lndia would still be cannibaIs & accustomed to eat each others deceased & decomposed fIesh till todate. Muslim did good job & hiinduus in modern day lndia( There was no lndia before 15th August 1947). Muhammad bin Qasim is considered a person of great importance in the history of Pakistan. To this day we hold great respect for his conquest of Sindh. However, Raja Dahir is also considered a national hero among other nationalists for his bravery against invaders. This makes it a complicated and rhetorical topic. Thank you for bringing up this usually ignored topic of our history. The conquest of Sindh holds great significance in the history of the modern-day Islamic republic of Pakistan as it would form the basis for the spread of Islam in the sub-continent and the further incursions of subsequent Muslim Empires in this region.

If you read the process of convertion you'll know that the sect which became muslim (in Indian subcontinent) was the same who weren't sanatani or Jain or Buddhist, they didn't just adhered a faith out of spite, they thought thoroughly. (Just read it on wiki or some non-polarising book) If it makes you feel any better, in school days, i came 4th in a Hanuman Chalisa reciting competition, and tht didn't made me less of a Muslim or Indian.

The Jats of Kikan fought the Arabs for 20 years, successfully crushing them and remaining unconquerable permanently until the Turkic invasions (even then being extremely difficult to fight). Bappa Rawal united the Rajputs and drove back the Arabs to the Iranian plateau, hereby ending in climactic Indian victory over the Muslims.

After that there was no further plans for conquest of hind (India) and the main focus was going towards the west. The conquest of Sindh started the dark ages for Indian subcontinent and it's people. And it's effect still continues to this day. And all the mslims in the comment section saying: "Oh all the conversions were peacefully done" That's all fkin BS and even you know, why do you think Europeans had to launch a crusade against Mslim Spain? Why So many Persians had sought refuge in India? Why didn't all of the world converted to Islam? Even to this day, the provinces of Sindh and Punjab with remaining Hindus get k!lled,rped or forcefully converted. Statistics are there, has there been any % of pop increase among Hindus of Pakistan? And British took away the land of Punjab and Sindh from us from where our civilization started. The wheels of fortune are already turning, today Pakistan is a nation with infighting, soaring inflations and what not. The Mahmud of Gazhni who destroyed multiple temples and pillaged cities has his country(Afghanistan) reduced to nothing in infighting

Islamic studies is compulsory in Pakistan, so many Hindus are learning the truth. Muslims in general over there have a higher birth rate. Also, india has its terrible problems too, not just Pakistan. Afghanistan was also most flourishing under Islam. The reason Afghanistan is in such a bad state is because of the communists of Afghanistan and USSR, and what do you mean the British took away Punjab and Sindh from you? The subcontinent has always been in multiple kingdoms, it was never fully one united country. Islamic civilisation was also the most advanced, while Europe was the opposite. In Baghdad, the centre of the Islamic Golden Age, many people of many religions, Muslim, Zoroastrian, Christian, Hindu and etc were there and flourished. Jews flourished under Islamic Spain, but were genocided under Christian Spain.

The people of punjab and sindh live in their own land which you bihari or up people have nothing to do with and seperate from you. If I choose to seperate my own land from you then what is your problem. Pre Pakistan census shows that In Punjab Muslims are 74 percent, 17 percent sikhs, 5 percent Hindus and so on parsi and Christians too. But that 26 percent minority gets 50 percent of the land. Why? Why? Oh why? They should get 26 percent of the state but they get 50 percent land. Now you would Indian punjab is tiny compared to Pakistani punjab then for your information. India punjab at time consist of haryana, himachal and punjab. 3 states that are equal to 50 percent of the total land of punjab is given to a 26 percent minority and you have the audacity to talk
