When the check engine light goes on the first thing you should check is the gas cap. Maybe it wasn’t closed tight enough when you last filled up or it needs to be replaced. It creates a vacume leak. Sometimes all you have to do is undo it and put it back on tight, drive a few miles and it’’ll turn off. Autozone won’t tell you that. Always start with the least expensive item.

I had a 2005 Lexus GX470, every time the check engine light went on, it was the gas cap.

When I don't feel like cooking, my favorite go to is PB&J!! The scenery is truly awesome with all them Autumn colors. I literally busted out laughing when I heard the roaster crow.. That was awesome. Never saw anyone enjoy life so much as you do. Kudos to you for picking up other people's garbage! Shows that you have a lot of respect for nature. What a view on those mountains!! Totally awesome! Thanks for sharing your journey! Drive safe! Keep safe! God bless you on your next adventure. 😘

2 weeks ago, my husband and I drove from TX to California for a family reunion. The reunion was at Bethel Island, not too far from San Francisco. Then we set out and camped at Soda Lake, Nevada followed by Cathedral Gorge, Nevada. Then we drove to Moab, Utah and went to Arches. Followed by camping out near Taos, New Mexico and then on to Palo Duro Canyon. In total we went 4400 miles round trip in 2 weeks. Originally planned to go to Yosemite but the fire canceled our camp reservation...but it's on the bucket list.

I get soo aggressively agitated when I see tourists and locals in Alaska throw or leave garbage in our forest 🌳,,,, I totally get what ur saying. I end up picking up the crap and then it looks 1000% better. Probably o2 sensor. I’ve got a sequoia, same everything pretty much. Down stream o2. There’s a left and right ,,,,, easy fix I bought 2 $30 sensors off Amazon been on there 5 yrs now lol. You can pick one up at Walmart $32 obd2 scanner I keep 1 in each of my 4 vehicles cause I’m a mechanic

I think you'd benefit from a Lagun table mount for eating and for setting a beer on a tabletop so you can keep it close to you! Check out the Lagun options .... a great way to have a table without designating a "full time" spot for one, since you can mount it in one place, probably on the lower cabinetry, add a table top and move it basically all over the Slumber Queen. The Lagun mount can also be slipped out of its holding so you can totally remove it if you need to.

Every time my Gen 1 Tundra that I've had since new has ever thrown a code, 8-10 times, it has always been the same thing: O2 sensor. OBD2 reader will tell you which exactly which one of the four sensors is bad, and you can get OEM ones (Denso) cheaply ($40.+/-) by position (they are not all the same) and the special wrench tool and anti-sieze compound to replace O2 sensors properly. I carry this stuff on board, as O2 sensors commonly go in Gen 1. (And dealer charges over $200. to do this relatively easy plug and play swap. So learned to do it myself, the proper way.). Use anti-seize compound on the new threads in case you must remove again someday. Spray rust release penetrant on the sensor area and let it sit a while prior to trying to unscrew. The threads will be corroded into the exhaust system. Lots of KZfaq videos out on how to do this procedure. Not recommended to ride with bad O2 sensor for long as bad fuel mix can lead to cascade of other issues. Good luck!
