FIRST PRO RACE // 2024 Sunshine State Nationals

My first pro race is in the books! I made my first pro main on Saturday with a P7, then missed the finals on Friday and Sunday by one position. Although it was a fairly successful weekend, I know I have more to show. Every lap gave me tons to learn from and improve, so we’ll analyze and be better for the next one!

All in all, you did great at your pro debut. Lots of learning moments but also plenty of moments that showed you can run up front. Keep working hard and pushing. You will be in the mix for your first Pro W in no time!

I've been holding my breath since the grands when you did that interview letting it slip you were going pro. As a lot of others have said, that was a really impressive first outing. Kudos! Thank you for making and for sharing the video. Learning to win. Burning to...well...at least make a few pro mains. The process is underway. Good luck with everything. You were hanging and banging. The pro class is so fast and so smooth....who knew?...what a surprising shocker. Days....weeks...months....years....keep on spinning those pedals harder and faster. Hang on tight.....and ENJOY the bumpy rides.

Now everyone is really fast, I’m not sure how they do it? I’d say you did pretty good, not sure how you would train to be faster? Strong legs maybe weight training and such , plyometrics . Lots of sprint work?

These next races r gonna be really fun to watch and see how u progress. Do u have any tips on going pro for future riders like me. I’m 13 inter rn and I’m having a tough time for motivation after grands.

I agree. I would say to always improve your skill and comfort on the bike. Focusing on bike control is very important in my opinion.
